Claim Before Start Date – Check Refund Policy
Initially, my refund request was denied when my visa was refused, which was frustrating. I later received the refund, but be aware that you must claim the insurance before the start date and request them to provide refund policy before purchasing.

They will ignore you after you sign up
I have Swisscare Switzerland and they are one of the most untrustworthy organizations. Once they lock you in, they refuse to answer your emails or comply with the law. I joined as a student and then later got married to a Swiss citizen. Per the law and their own guidelines, I contacted them right away to let them know but now am being ghosted. I have emailed them, tried to call...nothing. DO NOT sign with them. You are better off going with someone else.

What a joke of a company
Soooo ,
I got insurance with them for 3 months.
I had a medical claim for 230 euros, around the second month.
I sent them my documents, and I'm waiting.
Some very angry claims handler, replied to me in a very nasty way. " We are not sure, you're covered".
I mean..... it's 230 euros. I provided all the documents.
What else do you want?
What a joke of a company. Stay away from them.

Be cautious—they're the worst in town.
It’s either a scam or their software is just terrible. I paid my invoice, but I can’t access the app, which means I can’t get to my insurance documents. As a result, I might have to purchase them again because there’s no other way to retrieve them. Most companies simply send a copy of the insurance as an email attachment, but they didn’t do that. Now their app says I don’t have an account, and when I click the activation link they sent, it says the link has expired. The only way to access the documents is through their app, but the app itself is completely dysfunctional.
