After complaining things have now improved a lot.

No hazard warning EziChlor chemical in pool, plus heaps of other chemicals and no warning sign to not swim in it. Very angry when I asked about it. Didn't want to take responsibility for burning eyes and skin. A child could have ended up in Hospital. Taking sample to Bunnings regularly now and every post service from him as his water quality report was bogus stating pH of clear water when clearly not. A recent improvement as Creepy Crawley now working well and pool has improved greatly.

New Pool Owner Intro Service - Essential!

I booked the First Time Pool Owner orientation, and I was so glad I did. The process was informative, and I never felt like I was asking silly questions. I understood the how and the why of every aspect of my new pool, and I have much more confidence going forward. I then booked a recurring service plan immediately after. Highly recommended!

DO NOT USE SWIMART LAWNTON to service your pool especially if you are not there to see what they do or do not do!!. I got a quote for treatment of a green pool, this quote was agreed the work was carried out & the bill was paid in full. Then a few wks later another made up invoice with work on it that has already been paid for in the original invoice was emailed to me. I do not believe this work was carried out & even so it was never approved by me or even mentioned that it was needed. So I'm obviously not going to pay for imaginary work. I've explained this many times but Swimmart ignores this & keeps sending the invoice. They are threatening me with bailiffs now. So please BEWARE because paying in full is not good enough for them. You will be harassed for money you do not owe. This company is a discrace to treat customers this way.

I made two mistakes;

I made two mistakes;
1/ I trusted these people to do some work on my pool.
2/ I paid the full amount in advance for the work to be done.
Discussions with them about what they did, and what went wrong have not gone well. They were paid $1,000.00 in advance to replace two existing underwater pool lights with new lights and new brackets (which are included with the new lights), because the existing brackets securing the existing pool lights were broken. I came home from work to find they had attempted to fit the new pool lights to the existing broken brackets. Why would they do that? One new light is floating face up, They explained they tried to fit the lights to the existing broken brackets because they couldn’t remove the existing broken brackets, even though the whole point of this was to replace the broken brackets to secure the underwater lights properly, securely, and safely. I would think that at the time they discovered they could not remove the existing broken brackets, any honest person with decent character would have realised they can’t perform the job they were hired to do, admit it and offer a refund or a possible alternative, before performing a deliberate, faulty installation. (In fact, fitting new lights to the existing broken brackets is a deviation from what they were hired to do). They knew very well that I did not want brand new lights somehow loosely attached to existing broken brackets, and they knew very well their attempt at installing them would not last. They have deliberately and knowingly performed a faulty installation. Could this be an act of desperation and greed in order to keep my $1,000.00, rather than doing the right thing?
They have offered to correct/rectify their faulty installation, but only with an additional fee. Is this some type of scam?
In my opinion, a display of very poor character indeed, from this franchise. So, I still have broken pool light brackets, I have a brand new pool light floating face up in the water attached by the electrical cable, and the other light is not secured properly. I feel as though $1,000.00 has been stolen from me!

Disappointed in customer service

Have been using taringa swim mart for 6mths and had been v happy with the team but after cleaning today, they left possum poo, bugs and leaves thruout pool. I contacted the technician and asked him to return as I thought he actually hadn’t cleaned the pool. I thought I was being kind by not contacting the owner directly. The technician returned grudgingly and did a cursory sweep with the net avoiding collecting any poo or the multitude of bugs around the edges. I was inside and he left without any comment. I then contacted the store and spoke to the owner and tried to voice my concerns, she didn’t ask as to why I was concerned or even apologise at all. I said I would like to cancel my monthly service as a result and she said “fine” and hung up 😂 Such Incredibly poor customer service I was almost stunned! I have never written a review or complained before but was so disappointed with technician’s lack of care or owners concern that I wanted to put something online.

Unprofessional and dishonest

We bought an eco trident which was not effective. We sent it back asking for a store credit or refund. James from Belconnen had our cleaner for 6 weeks lying about what they had done. It needed a motor replacement. We repeatedly asked for a refund especially after the fault was found. James continued to be belligerent and try and deny a refund. I would not buy anything of value from this shop. Stay clear!!!! Not professional or worth dealing with this man and the store.

They'd rather chat than sell stuff

I was there this afternoon and there was one other customer in the store and four staff. Three of the staff were behind the counter chatting with the other customer. The fourth staff member, a very young chap, was unable to help me.
So I went over to the counter and courteously drew the attention of the youngest of the three remaining staff still chatting to the other customer. He too was unable to help me and returned to the conversation that was taking place at the counter.
I stood there for some minutes a metre or two behind the customer who had enthralled the newly reinforced team of three behind the counter. It should have been obvious that I was waiting for some service.
But alas, no service came.
So I left and ordered my parts online. That's what I'll do next time too.

Not happy Jack!!

I spent nearly $1,800 on new pool equipment and chemicals with Swimart, Mermaid
Waters. Matt the pool man did a good job over several days installing the Chlorinator and balancing the pool. However, he left the filter running overnight making a noise for several days. I phoned the pool shop requesting he call in briefly to fix the problem. However, Jack (owner!) was only interested in blaming the electrician and was most unco-operative and unhelpful. The electrician came around and fixed it- the switch was left on bypass not the timer. I won’t shop there again. Thanks to Jack’s rude manner. And why do they request your direct debit details before proceeding? Not very professional!

I requested a replacement elbow…

I requested a replacement elbow connector for my Hayward pool cleaner. Was told that it would need to be ordered in. A week later I rang to get an update and was told that the person I spoke to would check with their manager. No one has contacted me since and I ended up researching and ordering one myself on eBay two days ago and it has just arrived

Bad customer service

I am unhappy with the level of customer service. My appointment to replace a salt cell has been changed 3 times without me being contacted. Each time I have called Swimart Lindfield to ask where the guy is, only to be told my booking has been pushed back. There has been no email, SMS or phone call to confirm the appointment time nor advise it is being changed. I’ve also paid 50% for the part already. In this market you need to do a LOT better Swimart Lindfield !
