Pick n Mix Bucket Sweet Layers

I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the bucket and how full it was, far more than I had envisaged. In these crazy times when food prices are rising and everything is getting smaller, this is really good value. A couple of my choices were out of stock but I was more than happy with the substitutes. There are a lot varieties I haven't seen before and I'm looking forward to trying them all. Thank you.

So bad, the sweets I ordered were out of stock, instead of refunding my order as I didn’t want anything else they said I had to get something I didn’t want and hadn’t ordered as theyd already mixed them and refused to refund me

Excellent Service

Ordered a 5kg bucket of sweets with 25 items. Was shipped promptly on the following Monday. Was exactly as described. Should keep the sweet tooth happy for a few months, many thanks!

Would not order again

This entire order was a complete mess. I ordered the sweets before their cutoff time on the 16th, with next day delivery, and they marked them as dispatched on the 17th. With this being the case, I expected the sweets to be delivered on the 18th. However, when I checked the provided tracking he following day, to see if there was a delivery time, they had not actually dispatched it. When I contacted them about the matter to find out what was going on, I was told that they mark items dispatched before they actually are, and that it may take up to three business days from the order being placed for the order to be dispatched. With this being the case I expected the order to be recieved by Saturday at the latest, but low and behold, Saturday came, and they still hadn't shipped it. I mailed them on both Thursday and Friday for Updates, but they didn't get back to me until Monday. In the Friday message, I made it clear that if it was not dispatched that day, I would like them to refund the order instead of dispatch it, because the sweets were for an event on the Sunday. Instead, they refused to cancel the order, and dispatched it, or most of it at least, the following Monday. I intended to refuse the parcel, though they had made it clear they would not refund the sweets if they were refused, but I was out when it arrived so it was delivered to the standing Safe place. However, the one item that had a clear best before date, the brain licker, was more than a year past it, and the case of Cadbury Curly Wurly were entirely missing. This company has not managed to do a single thing correctly thoughout my order, and assuming this to be their standard practice, I couldn't suggest the company to anyone.
(e) edited to add that all the freeze dried sweets with wrappers also have BB/UB dates in 2024.

Bring back Woolworths!!

I saw this company’s videos on YouTube and ordered some sweets. I was quickly told they had been dispatched which I was impressed by - my sugar cravings would be sorted out more quickly than I anticipated! Hooray!! Unfortunately, it turned out they hadn’t actually been dispatched at all as I received a later email saying one of my selected sweets was unavailable and could they have an an alternative. I gave said alternative and they replied to say it was fine. The sweets eventually turned up, and the replacement option was completely different to what I asked for; not even close - think asking for a banana and being given a tin of beans. I emailed explaining the situation and politely asked for a refund and received no response. After a week, and feeling very fed up by this point with the amount of automated marketing emails I got from them, but no actual response, I politely emailed again. A few days later, I got an apology, but there was no reference whatsoever to my request for a refund. Instead, I was offered a £5 off voucher if I spent another £20 with them. I’m confused at this point… why would I spend more money with them? Do some people actually fall for this tactic?? I’d rather take my chances on the ropey looking, slightly dried out, possibly touched by toddler hands pick n mix in the supermarkets, thanks!

Fantastic 😍

After seeing the packing videos on YouTube I ordered the 1kg bag. I chose all of my favourites. Delivery was prompt (I am in the UK) and I was kept updated via email along the way. I am currently sat eating some of them now and they taste great!Nice and fresh. Packaging nice & simple, and so many more sweets than I expected. The price was so reasonable too. I will be ordering again. Thank you so much x

Long wait.

My order was placed and a despatch confirmation was sent, unfortunately the sweets were never actually despatched as there were shortfalls in the stock. I requested a refund but was told this was not an option as the deets that had been packed could not go back into stock - so far it's almost 6 weeks from initial order and my order has been sent but I'm still waiting for it to arrive. Hopefully the sweets packed 6 weeks ago will still be fresh...
I understand that Christmas must be a busy time but communication is poor. There are plenty of other companies selling over priced pick n mix to choose from next time.
I've gone for 2 stars rather than one as I'm going the sweets will be better than the customer service.

If I could rate it below 1 star I would !!!!!! I ordered a 100 euro Bucket, a couple days later after paying i received a email that customs will ask 30 euro on the Bucket, I e-mailen the company that I couldn’t pay the customs since its that high and kinda ridiculous to pay 30 euro on a 100 euro Bucket, but they won’t refund or give any thing back at all, poooff! 100+ euro’s gone!! If you want you don’t want to be scammed then Don’t order here !!

easy to navigate the website , plenty of sweets on offer . got a few different bags , both filled to the brim and great variety ( i let them choose) arrived really quick !! and 10% off for new member . very happy and will probably order again

Bad customer service …

My delivery didn't arrive on the selected date. It was then out for delivery 2 days later and it didn't show up. 3 days later it was out for delivery again, nothing. It finally arrived in a completely damaged bix and all the sweets were all mixed up. I paid extra for the fizzy sweets to be at the bottom however due to such poor handling, they were not. I spoke to the company and they were not bothered. Before my sweets were finally delivered, they said they will resend them if they get sent back to the sender, however will charge me a fee. Once they arrived I emailed them with photos of the terrible condition the box and sweets were in, no reply. I think, compared to many other companies, Sweet Mouthful Mixes could not care less about their customers. quality of the sweets are not great either. This is a superficial company only out for social media likes and they do not deliver what they preach.

Sold my card details. Caution!

Sold my card details, do not enter yours into the website!
Not sure if its the website/payment system host that is dodgy, but my details were defintley sold or leaked from here.
I should clarify that the original transaction was fine, and I received my order.
However, a few days later the fraudulent transaction happened.
I am certain this stemmed from this website as it is the only place I have entered the card details of the account online.
Luckily my bank flagged fraud quickly and I didnt lose any money.

The actual product was fine, as expected.
Delivery time was alright, contrary to some other reviews, but its probally because im in the UK.
They havent stopped emailing me either, even after I unsubscribed which is quite annoying!

They're not a scam

They're not a scam, just a small business who may be a little overloaded at times. I also run a business so I totally get being slammed beyond what you can handle. My order was very delayed, took almost a month after I ordered to get it but it was because of a few factors. My pick-a-mix included items that went out of stock, they emailed me but I didn't see the email asking about what I wanted to do/swap things until about a week after they sent it. That's my bad, but also I wish they sent some type of follow up emails since I had no idea (it went to spam too) and I was just like huh this is taking a while. It wasn't until I looked into why it was taking so long that I discovered the whole missed email thing. Anywho, I emailed them and I got a response by the next morning each time so that was great. They cleared everything up and got my order out quickly. Some people need to remember that not every business can be like Amazon where things move super fast. Yes, it's expensive (mostly just the shipping to the US but that isn't their fault) but the candy is actually priced very fair. It super fun to be in the states and get to support a small business across the pond and try goodies that you can't find here. Only did 4 stars because of the timeline and that my only critique really is to just send out more email reminders/communication about delays, alternatives, etc. Communication is key to avoid the people thinking this is a scam.

Yuck.

Was very much looking forward to enjoying various bags purchased. Delivery - fine. But upon closer inspection the sweets looked old and “bashed up” (unsure of how else to describe!). There were some sweets which looked as if they’d been hacked into bits. I’m a bit of a hygiene freak and was making a very close inspection and found fibre hairs in the sweets. I had got carried away and 100% should have read reviews on this company before jumping in headfirst with the social media hype. The dismissive nature of this company’s customer support cemented this 1 star review. Poor product. Even worse customer “care”.

⚠️ WARNING : SCAM! DO NOT ORDER

Absolutely unacceptable and disrespectful behavior from their customer service (and this company as a whole).

I placed an order almost a month ago now (close to €200).
No updates for over a week after payment.
Eventually received an email saying items picked were out of stock! We agreed to choose replacements.

Then, days passed again, still no shipping information.

When I contacted them, they falsely promised I’d get tracking “soon.” Another week went by, still NOTHING.

After more follow-ups, they even provided a FAKE tracking number.

I had to escalate the issue with PayPal directly for a full refund because they couldn’t be bothered to handle it themselves.

This is absolutely predatory behavior. Don’t waste your time or money on Sweetmouthfulmixes. Don’t let your kids get lured in by their video content either, it’s a proven scam.

SCAM COMPANY

I ordered 3 weeks ago and am still yet to receive my order. When I first chased, I got told I needed to reselect my choices of sweets even though I’d already had an ‘order shipped’ email. Then I was promised it had been sent out every day for about a week. Then eventually they sad they’d send out a new order, again I got a new tracking number which suspiciously also says Royal Mail were still awaiting the item! I have now chased 3 times for a refund and am being ignored! I will be requesting a chargeback shortly! This is a complete scam of a company!!!

Melted and stuck together

Ordering process was easy and lots of sweets to choose from. Ordered and the following day they emailed to say one of the sweets were out of stock and asked what sweet I would like to replace with which I thought was great. I didn’t see the email until a few days later and they didn’t send until I replied, which again was great. When my order arrived, the chocolate mice had melted all over the sweets and everything was stuck together in big ball. The person I was sharing the box with hates chocolate so, they could eat anything. I like both but not stuck/ melted together. The box wasn’t edible really. I reached out to the company and asked if there was anything they could do. I appreciate this was most likely down to the shipping company but thought a level of customer service would have been a minimum. SweetMouthfulMixes were really empathetic and accommodating at first. They asked how they could make it right. After I replied with my suggestions, they didn’t respond and haven’t done for over a week despite me reaching out again. Shame, really wanted to be a regular customer.

Disgusting, unprofessional, no customer service, no phone number, rude.

Doesn’t deserve the single star. Ordered sweets 18th June told they were coming 19th, and nothing arrived. Emailed company who responded timely and said would look into delay, but never got back to us. Wrote a review on here and my emails began to receive a reply. Sweets finally arrived 4th July.
Quick to take your money even when, it appears, they do not have the stock to sell. Did receive an apology but was then accused of slowing things down as had to wait a few hours for my 11 year old daughter to finish school and choose an alternative sweet. Told the order would then go out the next day as they had had to wait for us ( a couple of hours! , unlike a week that we had with no product!), but they didn’t send the sweets out for a further three days. Total of 2 weeks wait. Then a days delay with Royal Mail. Not surprised when I saw the packaging. Looked suspicious.
Asked for compensation which they appeared to feel unreadable as they were now addressing the order issues. Eventually offered a £5 discount but only if I spent £20 with them! I think they must be high on the sweet additives! Disgusting, unprofessional, no customer service, no phone number, rude.
Walk away and do not approach this, well what ever it is!
Update, daughter just opened package on getting home from school and surprise, surprise no substitute sweet in it, or at least not the one we requested. Got fruit salad sweets instead. Sums the whole experience up! Utterly useless.

Wrong order

They didn't put in 2 sets of sweets we wanted. Didn't inform us that they weren't in stock. So ultimately left very disappointed. If I'd see the terrible reviews I wouldn't have ordered. Super expensive, save some money and buy haribo I won't be buying again

Absolutely great mix

Absolutely great mix, let the dealer choose and they didn't dissapoint, the taste is spot on aswell. So if your a kid or a big kid these sweets are the one !

Awful

Don’t waste your money.

They sent me a replacement sweet in my 5kg bucket which had pork gelatine in it. As I follow a Halal diet the whole bucket was virtually inedible for me. I asked for a refund or a replacement bucket and they said they’d get back to me but it’s been 2 weeks and they haven’t. I understand i maybe should’ve specified a Halal diet, yet they didn’t ask to replace the sweets. That’s 60 quid wasted. I will happily take this review down if they reply to my email and replace the bucket or refund me.
