From the start with the quote, to the full report after the work is done, this company was excellent. Great attention to detail. Our chimney and fireplace have never looked so good, many thanks to Mason, who did the work and answered all our questions.
I couldn’t be happier with the chimney sweeping service! They arrived right on time, were friendly and professional, and explained exactly what they were doing along the way. The work was thorough and tidy—no mess left behind at all. My fireplace and chimney are now spotless and safe to use, and I feel confident knowing it was done properly. It’s rare to find such reliable, courteous service these days, and I’ll definitely be calling again for future maintenance. Highly recommend

Great communication with a competitive quote for a chimney sweep, insertion of a chimney pot and cowl. The installers have just finished and we are delighted with the outcome. Very professional and respectful to us and home with use of floor coverings. We would highly recommend.

Used this company as our local chimney sweep could not fit us in until January! What a mistake that was they damaged and dislodged the chimney cowl. They offered to come and put the one they damaged back in the chimney! Never again!!!

As we discussed at the time, a loose chicken wire mesh bird guard—unseen from below—could have been dislodged during the sweep. Unfortunately, because the mesh wasn’t visible before we started (we showed the timestamped photos), we had no way of knowing it was there. As chimney sweeps, we are required to clean the full length of the flue to ensure it’s safe and clear.
Once you brought the issue to our attention, we immediately offered to return the following day to reinstall the mesh, free of charge—even though chicken wire is not the recommended method for guarding a chimney and had not to have been securely fitted in the first place. You declined this offer.
We also waived the cost of the sweep as a gesture of goodwill and made several follow-up calls, which went unanswered.
You later stated that unless we supplied a brand new bird guard to replace the rusted, over-10+-year-old-piece of chicken wire, you would leave a negative review. We take pride in our work and always aim to do what’s fair, but we cannot accept demands under the pressure of negative feedback—especially after offering a free revisit and waiving the service fee.
We genuinely feel we acted promptly, professionally, and in good faith throughout. While it’s disappointing to receive this review, we absolutely respect your right to share your experience. Given the number of negative reviews you’ve left elsewhere on this platform, we won’t take this personally. As a small business, we always strive to provide the best service possible, and we remain committed to learning and improving from all feedback

Texted to ask if they could come early. Paul the Sweep was very polite, no mess and cleaned up after. Will use them again.
I was looking for a reliable chimney service after moving into my new home, and I’m so glad I found them. From the initial phone call to the completion of the service, everything was smooth and professional. The technician arrived on time and was extremely polite.
He took the time to assess the chimney and explained what he would be doing during the cleaning process. The results were fantastic! My fireplace is now clean and ready for use this winter. He also gave me some excellent maintenance tips that I hadn’t considered before.
When more local sweeps couldn’t get to me for a week, Sweepsmart were around the very next day following bird trapped in chimney. Full chimney clean completed as part of the call out and they fitted an anti-bird cowl for me within a week. Very professional, prompt and polite, and excellent customer service from Faith.
On time, polite, clean and tidy. Great price and certificate emailed within 15 minutes of leaving our property. Highly recommended and will use again.
I booked a chimney sweep online and was given a 2 hour time slot. The day before, I got a confirmation email and then on the day a link to a tracker so i could see how far away they were and then a 10 minute warning when they were nearby. Two men came, smart, polite. Left everything exactly the same, clean and tidy. Went up on the roof to check the stack and gave me a mini safety lecture! All in all, very professional and very happy with the service. I will definitely rebook with this company next year.
