Durch SWA Safaris haben wir Namibia kennengelernt!
Das südliche Afrika stand lange auf unserer Liste der Traumziele. 2017 ging die Reise nach Südafrika mit einer Woche Namibia – Walvis Bay und Sossusvlei. Unser deutsches Reisebüro Uhambo aus Burgdorf arbeitet mit SWA Safaris in Namibia zusammen. So haben wir SWA Safaris kennengelernt und sind begeistert von deren Professionalität und Flexibilität. Nach 3 Reisen durch Namibia mit Hilfe von SWA Safaris können wir den Slogan von SWA Safaris bestätigen: „you can leave Namibia but Namibia never leaves you”!
SWA Safaris hat unsere Ideen und Wünsche für Selbstfahrer-Reisen perfekt mit Vorschlägen und Tipps zu Lodges und Gästefarmen umgesetzt. Das zeigt die Erfahrung und Kenntnis, die SWA Safaris für ihre Kunden einbringt. Wir haben uns bei unseren Reisen voll auf die Vorschläge verlassen und haben dadurch unvergessliche Reiseerlebnisse gehabt. Zu einigen der Highlights gehörten Rundflug über Namib-Wüste, von Purros durch das Kaokoveld bis zur Grenze zu Angola, Unterkünfte im Caprivi-Strip am Okavango und Kwando mit unvergesslichen Tiererlebnissen.
Auch die Ausarbeitung der jeweiligen Tagesetappen ist ausgezeichnet und hilfreich. Ob Mietwagen oder Unterkunft, alles war immer ohne Verzögerung bereit für uns.
Und einen extra Pluspunkt für SWA Safaris vergeben wir für den unermüdlichen Einsatz von Tanja Sentefol, als uns Kamera-Ausrüstung und Wertsachen in der Waterberg Plateau Lodge gestohlen wurden. Zurück in Deutschland, bekamen wir von ihr als Trost ein kleines Video mit unseren Reiseunterkünften, damit wir doch noch ein paar Erinnerungen an die Reise hatten. Nach über einem halben Jahr hat sich die Lodge bereiterklärt, uns Schadenersatz zu leisten. Das war nur möglich, weil SWA Safaris vor Ort sich für uns eingesetzt hat, auch lange, nachdem wir Namibia verlassen hatten.
Unsere nächste Reise 2022 nach Namibia ist schon in Planung und auch dabei wird uns selbstverständlich Tanja mit ihrem Team wieder professionell beraten. Wir freuen uns schon darauf.
We learned a lot about the how and what in Namibia on internet. To see it yourself you need in my opinion go to a local touroperator. We heard so much about the beauty of Namibia but we knew so little about the country. We met SWA in Holland on the Vakantiebeurs in 2020 (just before the corona pandemia). The enthousiasm, the empathic approach from their representative on the Vakantiebeurs, Tanja Sentefol, confirmed us that our next big journey would be Namibia. Tanja asked us where our most points of interest laid and once back home she made and itinerary for us based on our personal interests. We have not found a likewise proposal by any of the Dutch touroperators offering journeys to Namibia. And if we then compared the prices with these touroperators our conclusion was quickly made: when Covid is under controle we go to SWA to organize our Namibian trip. And this trip is to be realized this year!! SWA, are you ready for us?
