TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
bought a product that doesnt work out of the box. Now the product is out of stock. Called customer service and went on line chat. THIS COMPANY'S CUSTOMER SERVICE STINKS!!!! They want me to wait 4 weeks and then call them back to see if the product is back in stock. This use to be a good company with good customer service. All I can say is DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM SUNJOE!
SunJoe blowers blowing me off...
I received a SunJoe leaf blower for a gift Dec 2022. It didn't work. When called, they said that one was out of stock and I would receive an email when one came in. Nothing. Called back again a month ago, said they put in for three other types of equal or better value but still nothing. What are the odds of getting four possible blowers and ALL are out of stock? It is under warranty but they still haven't replaced it. It's Feb 2024. I have a feeling they are stalling until end of the two year warranty. Shady business practices so far. If anything changes, I will review it but I'm doubting it will occur.
I have had 3 mowers that have failed…
I have had 3 mowers that have failed under warrantee and were replaced (MJ403E). The common failure mode was caused by hitting a tree root which sheared the two plastic keys in the plastic blade base holder which holds the blade in place and keeps the assembly balanced. It is a $7 part which should be a consumable, but SunJoe does not make it available to the consumer. So if you don't buy the extended warrantee and get new machines, there is no way to keep from throwing it in the landfill!!! Eyes Wide Open. Great machine, fair price, good warrantee support - no lifecycle support!
unresponsive warranty service
just made my 4th effort to get warranty coverage on a vacuum that stopped working several months ago. Model SWD5000,SERIAL# 0341350000435. I called 11/28/2023 and was told I'd receive an email with instructions within 4 weeks. Never got it. After 6 weeks, called again, was told someone would call me back. No one did. Did an email request early this month, got a response saying I'd hear from someone within 24 hours, never heard anything. Complained on Facebook site, was told I'd be contacted within 24 hours, never heard anything. Just tried to call again, and get recording that no one is available to take calls, and line hangs up.
BUYER BEWARE
The the digital screen failed… They requested I send the unit back. I returned the unit and they received it January 3, 2024… I had contacted them so many times starting December 9, 2023 until January 16 today still no results . First of all they told me I could get gift card code to use at SunJoe.com only… I went on the website and there is no SunJoe.com for ordering products… I’ve determined that you can only buy them online at Walmart eBay Amazon target . The gift card code they gave me will not let me use it on any online stores . SUN JOE keeps telling me they’re out of stock… and when they get some in their warehouse which they do not even have… They will send me one… And I do not have anything to blow my tires up and I’m a senior citizen… I try to help people in my neighborhood but if I have a flat tire I have no way of blowing it up and I live alone. I spent $71 and I have nothing to show for it… Also I called Amazon and they told me the same thing since I had mailed it to SunJoe that I had to deal with them. $71 is a lot of money out of my Social Security check… I feel so violated and taken advantage of… BUYER BEWARE .. DO NOT BUY FROM SUN JOE. They have taken advantage of a senior citizen… If this is the kind of business practices they have they will fail eventually.
Refurbished Sun Joe power washer (I got hosed)
I purchased a refurbished Sun Joe power washer awhile back. I left it sealed in the box that it arrived in because I was using it as backup washer. I opened it today
1-11-24 and discovered that the handle was missing. I called Sun Joe and explained my issue. I was told the 90 day warranty had expired and there was nothing they could do. I don't consider this customer service. SHAMEFUL!!!!!

Great customer service! My hose on my pressure washer unit started sprouting holes after 2nd use and Katrina Doca is sending me a replacement after providing photos of receipt and the defective hose. She has the patience of Job! = ) Thank you again!

Their quality of product is below standards. Their customer service is all automated and a total disaster.
They don't have a service center and good luck trying to replace a part out of warranty. Totally unacceptable

My Sun Joe 24V-PS10-LTE 24-Volt iON+ Cordless Telescoping Pole Chainsaw suddenly just stopped working and I chatted with Fe Herediano and she immediately jumped into action and sent me a UPS prepaid label via email to sent the product and they will send me a replacement once they receive my defective item.

I chatted with Jaycel Maasin and it was so nice to have a new upgraded leaf blower in minutes! Great customer service. I will purchase from Sun Joe again.

This is second time contacting Sun Joe, for 2 different product. They have amazing customer service. Today I chat with Christine Bancog and she provided excellent customer service. I keep buying products from this company.

I have an older model Sun Joe Pruner which I love but I forgot how to charge the battery. I spoke (via text) with Amiel Minghay and he was able to walk me through finding the port (I forgot to remove one part). Now, I can clean up my yard!

We purchased an Aquajoe oscillating sprinkler. It came with a 2 year warranty. After 8 months it started leaking from the sides and bottom. I contacted their customer support by text and Christine D. Resolved our problem quickly and effectively by sending a replacement sprinkler. The company has excellent customer service!
