Absolutely brilliant job from Sunbright Family Builders.

We had our old conservatory roof replaced with a warm roof and added bifolding doors, and the difference is unbelievable. It’s gone from a space we barely used to one of the best rooms in the house.

From the first meeting to the final finish, everything was handled professionally. The team were friendly, turned up when they said they would, and kept everything clean and tidy. You can tell they really know what they’re doing.

The quality of the work is spot on, and the bifolds look amazing. We’ve already had loads of compliments.

Communication was great throughout and there were no surprises along the way. Really refreshing to deal with a company that actually delivers what they promise.

Would 100% recommend.

The team was polite, professional, and delivered exactly what they promised from start to finish. There were a couple of very minor issues along the way, but these were quickly addressed without any fuss, which really shows their commitment to customer satisfaction.

The new lite roof system is wonderful.
The team were great and communicated well. Rick and James installed the roof and were very knowledgeable. Rick even adjusted some doors to help with closing and locking with was above and beyond what was expected. The guy who plastered did a fantastic job along with the electrician.
A great job and we are so pleased with the end result.

From start to finish with this veranda project Sunbright have done exactly what they said they would at the time they said. A small issue was encountered with the build but it was resolved very well with minimal amount of fuss. A pleasure to buy from such a professional company.

It’s been six years since the company built my extension and fitted all the windows, so I feel confident giving a well-rounded review based on long-term experience.

Overall, I’m very happy with the work they carried out. The extension truly transformed my home, and the quality of the windows has proven to be excellent: no warping, no deterioration, and everything still operates smoothly even after years of use.

What actually prompted me to write this review was the bifold door adjustment they carried out today. After six years, the door had dropped slightly, but they came out and realigned it for me. I genuinely appreciate that, as not every company would be willing to entertain requests so long after installation, even with a 10-year warranty in place. I still have four years left on that warranty, but based on how the windows and extension have held up so far, I’m confident everything will continue to perform well. And if I do need to call them again, I trust they’ll respond.

Over the years, they’ve attended several of my calls and dealt with issues. Their continued aftercare is commendable and shows they stand by their work. That said, it hasn’t always been seamless. While they do resolve issues, it sometimes requires a bit of persistence and encouragement from my side. A few problems could have been avoided, and at times I would have preferred a more proactive, less defensive approach.

Still, six years on, the extension is standing strong, and we enjoy it every day. Taking everything into account, the quality of the build, the longevity, the continued support, and the occasional need to push for action, I believe a solid four stars is a fair and honest reflection of my experience with the company.

Sunbright presented us options and choices for a perfect veranda when we were looking for one. From start to finish the whole team made sure everything is done satisfactorily and made sure any problem was dealt with accordingly. Professional and excellent indeed! We are one very much satisfied with the result customer! We now have a new favourite place where we will enjoy extra space and a cuppa. Thank you very much Sunbright. Highly recommend. X

From the first visit, then, survey, delivery and installation, just what I expected, kept me informed, explained as the project went along.
I didn't think they would turn up on the day of the storm, but they did and worked under the roof. The installers explained what they planned to do for each day and they cleared up before they left.
Parked their van without causing any obstruction to my neighbours. Advised on maintaining the doors and door rail.
So yes very pleased with the installation, the price. Definitely would recommend

So far they have been only remarkable with the options and professional explanation on how the cabin will be built to manage your expectations. I would highly recommend Nick and His Team Archie who came to see me personally and gave me a complete in depth knowledge of what I was building. Incredible service but also genuinely lovely people! Hats off to you guys! Look forward to working in my cabin!

I would not have used them if I had read reviews first.
Communication post sales is poor.
Sub contractors not great. Ground work was good but construction workers caused damage to gutters. Company fobbed us off. Told me it was shown in photographs…. Not!
Told it was on surveyors report….not!
So why if it was there on installation did they not take a photo, speak to me, point it out????
Because it wasn’t. So the installers put on some tape to cover up whatever they did and never mentioned it. When I asked what had happened I was met with lies. Repeated by company.
The mysterious damage is above the door that I enter every day for last 6 months! I think I would have noticed it. The rain would have been dripping down !!!! It didn’t because it wasn’t cracked. I requested they replaced the mysteriously damaged gutter, nope.
I withheld final payment and was treated with them threatening in an email to having them come and take it all away if I did not make the final payment. I had paid £15k and only withheld £1.5k. I have this in an email.
(Phone call made to demand final payment before the ground worker returned to fit the tiles after erection team left!)

In the end I paid it as it wasn’t worth the stress. I’m now waiting for the final paperwork!
Job started and finished first week of December. No responses to 2 emails sent in January requesting it. 6 weeks after completion.

Please come and visit mine if you would like to verify before you purchase. It is a glass veranda.
Doors have edging strips with anti draft strips which don’t align so you see double edge, ok not massive but ugly. Not sure how the plain metals bar are screwed into the wall as I never saw the installation but the gallows wall brackets are held to the wall with these then tightened with normal hexagon bolts. The excess bar was then rough sawn off to the bolt head with seriously dangerous sharp edges. Not filed down.
Obviously cheaper than using Rawlbolt. So how was a bar secured in place? Raw bolts have a fixed depth, expand to the brick hole for stability and have a fixed safe head!
Sunbright arranged to come at look at the sliding doors, I’m lucky to have edging strips apparently. The doors did not slip into the closing corners due to rubber bungs fitted to prevent them being damaged. Sunbright trimmed them down so they slide in 3 mm more than before. So they fit better but not great. Better than accidentally closing too fast and cracking I suppose. I suggest a better design would be to have a deeper insert.
Read their response, then read the other bad reviews and responses to make your own mind up.

Good notice about ground workers starting. Then nothing til a knock at the door on Monday morning 8:30.
They had sent an email about 7:30 to say sorry they forgot to inform me of installers arriving!
My 91 year old father got up to open door ( we’d been in A and E for 13 hours Sunday night returning at 2am! )
The remedial work visit was scheduled for 12:30 on a Saturday and he turned up at around 8:30, I was still in bed!
Got an email to say he was on his way at 7:30 that morning…. I was asleep!
Just awful.

It wasn’t cheap so beware.

Had our conservatory roof tiled over the week plus new windows and sliding door put in.All this done by one man called Alex who was very friendly and polite,am now waiting for electrician and plasterer to Finnish the work.

We had our glass conservatory roof replaced earlier in the year.. Took comparison prices from a number of people and found Sunbright to be competitive and offered a great product.. The conservatory was 10 years old and was always very hot in the summer and cold in the winter. We have now been through all the season and have been able to use the areas in comfort. I haven't needed to put the heaters on in the conservatory yet this winter. Highly recomend the product and service. Steve

We were so disappointed in our experience after reading really good reviews. We found customer service to be unhelpful, unfriendly and patronizing. Our foot lock and door lock both are faulty or broken, we were promised this would be looked at and it never was. As soon as the non-refundable money was paid all customer service just went out the window. Any time we tried to raise a concern or issue, we were just repeatedly told we were wrong or that we must have misunderstood when we knew we hadn't. The project took longer than we were told, the builder they sent was incredibly rude and uncomfortable to have in the house, and certain aspects were not done to the original plan - again just told we must have misunderstood (we didn't, we had the written and signed plan, and saw the original chalk drawings on our floor before the build)

Just desperately disappointed really, huge sum of money we saved up and sadly feels like a waste and all around bad experience. wouldn't recommend or return.

From the start,survey to roof construction, plastering and tiling were all carried out within the time frame and on time. Materials and workmanship used by Sunbright were to a high standard . All the personel used, were polite tidy and clean a credit to Sunbright . you have been blessed with such a great crew

Decided to have a sunroom built and sent out various email requests. Sunbright got back to me very promptly, and arranged a site visit in very short order. Luke visited to explain the product, and discuss what could be achieved… no pressure was applied, and various options were provided and discussed. I felt confident with Luke’s presentation and decided to go ahead in late June, and asked for an installation ASAP and was told it would likely be early September. To my delight Teresa who works at the office informed me that my install would commence on the 4th August and would be completed in 3 days. Teresa also arranged for a skip to take my old installation away. The guys who installed the room (Kevin and Tom) were fabulous! They arrived promptly, and just cracked on with things. They answered all the questions I raised along the way, and apart from making teas and coffees (which were forced on them), they just cracked on. Sure enough on day 3 my room was finished to perfection, and I couldn’t be more pleased, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company.

Always a five star experience with the guys at Sunbright! This was the second time we have instructed them, this time to do our decking to the garden room we had done last year. I requested Rick and James again who were just as wonderful as they were last year.

The garden room is now completed and I am over the moon with the finish. Super helpful in the office as well as on site. Huge thanks to Archie, Theresa, James and Rick for yet another wonderful build.

Wow! I really can’t praise this company enough. Having lived with an unusable conservatory for the last few years I took the plunge and contacted Sunbright. I spoke with the office who arranged a visit with their design consultant who explained my option's and provided me with a design and quote. We placed an order and a few weeks later the team arrived to replace our roof. From start to finish the office manages the installation and the fitting team were excellent. The job was completed within two weeks and I couldn’t believe what they achieved. We know have a usable room that is always being used by one of the family. Thank you so much Sunbright.
