I ordered the white jacket tuxedo with…
I ordered the white tuxedo jacket with black trousers. The material of the jacket is very thin, although wool don’t be fooled, as there are many grades. You can see the construction of the jacket very clearly, so the overall appearance is messy and cheap looking. The jacket is also boxy, not a sophisticated tuxedo look. If you plan to use this for your wedding where you are the focus, I’d recommend a different company.

I AM AMENDING my review after receiving a personal email from the CEO requesting I remove my honest opinion of the jacket for a refund of the £20 restock fee. This does not indicate integrity to me, more an effort to present a false narrative of their products.

I purchased the jacket based on the description; it was the stock currently being used. I was advised the ONLY reason it was in the clearance was that it had been hired approximately 3 times. This is also clearly stated on their website.

The company SUITOR has removed previous responses to this review informing selling me old stock from 2024. I did not agree to receive “old stock” I was not aware this was their practice. This is what their original reply on Trustpilot stated as the reason it was low quality. So effectively selling old stock and NOT informing customers? Or creating this narrative as damage control to give a reason why the quality of their clothing is substandard.

On requesting a return and refund. I raised concerns about the craftsmanship of the garment specifically the transparency of the construction which was not of a neat finish, as some seams had folded over within the jacket and therefore could not be manipulated or fixed by me, along with the garment being excessively ironed leaving indentations of the construction clearly visible, I was advised this is normal and my opinion of the jacket was a personal preference and not a quality issue, I found this statement astonishing.

I honestly think any groom planning to hire or purchase a white tuxedo would be disappointed with the overall quality.

There are many reputable hire or retail companies who can provide a better quality suit and experience for an equivalent cost and have a robust, fair refund policy, particularly when the sold item does not meet quality standards. I believe my rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 were breached. Save yourself the hassle or gamble at your own cost.

NOTE: suitor has changed their reply to this review several times to closely match and cover my complaints raised. The CEO has failed to mention emailing me to ask me to REMOVE MY REVIEW in exchange for the refund of the £20 restock. He has added, removed then reworked comments around old stock to give a positive impression of the situation. A lot of effort for a company who actually believe in their merchandise? BUYER BEWARE!

Hired 2 suits. One for me and my 7year old son.
Easy to navigate website. Fast postage/delivery. My son looked amazing on the day super happy with the suits and service provided.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received.
I placed my order specifically because next-day delivery was advertised and available as an option. I therefore arranged my plans on the reasonable expectation that the order would arrive as promised. To then be contacted on the actual day of delivery and told that the order could not be delivered until the following day was both frustrating and unacceptable.
Whatever the reason for the delay, businesses should not advertise and charge for a delivery service that they are unable to fulfil. Customers make purchasing decisions based on those commitments, and failing to honour them causes significant inconvenience and quickly undermines trust and goodwill.
What makes the situation even more disappointing is that the delivery is now apparently still proceeding even though I no longer require the order. I have explained that I will not be accepting delivery, yet I have been advised that the goods must first make their way back to the warehouse before a refund can be processed. This creates yet another unnecessary delay for a problem that was not of my making.
I had hoped that by making it clear in advance that I would refuse the delivery, the return and refund process could at least be expedited. Instead, I am now left dealing with the consequences of a missed delivery commitment while also having to make alternative arrangements at the very last minute.
Overall, this has been a very disappointing customer experience. The issue is not simply that a delivery was delayed; it is that the service advertised and relied upon was not delivered, leaving me inconvenienced, out of pocket in the short term, and having to find a last-minute solution elsewhere.

Fantastic company. I ordered my suit on Monday and by Wednesday morning it had arrived. The suit was immaculate and perfectly fitted. Fantastic customer service. Will be definitely better using you guys again and will recommend to all my friends.

Great service, did what it needed to. I ordered the velvet tuxedo. Fitted well, not bad quality. Had extra sizes just incase but were not needed

Amazing service and so stress free. Suitor made my sons year 10 formal so special. He felt (and looked) like a million bucks. It was so reassuring to be able to have a back-up suit incase his measurements were off. Turns out he didn’t need it, but it was so good to know we had back up anyway. I highly recommend Suitor. Incredible! The suit came in great condition the day after it was ordered. I was happy with the generous waist elasticity on the trousers. Both the suit jacket and trousers came with extra sizes. It was absolutely perfect. It also smelled quite nice!

Will be my go to for suit & tie events.

The suit I currently have in my possession is for my friends upcoming wedding and while I have no knowledge of specific materials and construction of such garments, the suit I have has been made in such detail with real care and attention. The suit in its entirety fits wonderfully and looks the part.

The ordering process was super simple and straightforward which always helps when you’ve never used the company or brand before.

I decided to go with the backup suit option as well purely because I thought it was a great idea and that it would give me security in case a certain garment did not fit based on the measurements I gave. With that, when I tried the suit on and looked at the tags, the suit jacket was actually the recommended jacket size from Suitor and for that I am grateful for such an option!

I have 0 complaints to report on and am confident that Suitor have a good thing going for themselves and wish them great success in their journey.

I received the parcel ahead of time, which allowed me to check the sizing right away with plenty of time to adjust if necessary.
Not only is the quality of the items themselves outstanding (especially given they are hire items), the system and service is absolutely fantastic.

The service of Suitor was simply excellent, from delivery to helping me with the sizing of the tuxedo. Their advice was perfect and fitted my son very well. My order was last minute and I received the delivery on time. I will definitely use Suitors in future and have also recommended it to my friends and family.

Lots of information to make the right choice on correct sizing and style. Plus the ability to pay a little extra to get a size up at the same time as not able to try it on! Quick and simple with easy delivery in advance of when I need the suit plus a simple DPD pre paid postage service.

Tuxedo arrived on time. Customer support suggested we change the shirt size and they were correct. The suit fitted well and was in great condition.
My son got voted best dressed male at his prom to top it off!

Amazing service. As it was pom season and my sons sizes in suits was a stuggle to find. I found this hire site and it was easy from the start. As soon as i ordered they corrected the size and informed me via email. They didnt wait to hear from me they acknowledged i needed it so sent the size. It fit perfectly. It came on time and easy to returm no need to dryclean.id reccomend again

Overall great service, The suit was a perfect fit having been a bit worried I only had to supply my weight and height details so I was very impressed. Next day delivery was perfect and everything looked brand new, from the shoes, belt and suit itself. While I do not very often need a suite I will definitly use the service again!

Hired for sons ball, chose the all black suit, shirt, tie and shoes.

This was my first time renting a suit and I would recommend suitor to others and will avail of their services in the future. They were very fast in their responses to me and helped ensure that I was able to get a suit for my formal occasion. The clothing was good value and the whole process was very easy and managable. A very good service.

Right - so I'm not one for doing reviews. I generally think they are bots or fake. But i have to take the time to write a quick one as i had such an amazing exprerience. I bought a clearance suit (full package including shirt dicky bow etc) which i have to say for the money is incredible value and as pretty much as new.

The sizing is pretty much bang on, but as I have the arms and upper body length of a large chimp i had to return the jacket and get the long option instead. I was on a tight turnaround for a function but within a day i had the new suit which fitted perfectly. Customer service level is genuinely incredible.
