You make a very valid point about payment per module versus yearly tuition fees. We’ll definitely explore how we can make this information easier to filter and compare in the future.

Regarding language requirements, you can already find the general admission requirements, including English language requirements, on each individual programme page. Showing all those details directly in the main search results could make the overview a bit overwhelming for students searching through thousands of programmes.

We also partner with IELTS and TOEFL providers, so students can book their English exams directly through Studyportals with a discount, which helps simplify the process a little more ✨

Scholarships can definitely feel confusing at first, especially because every university and scholarship provider has a different application process. On Studyportals, you can explore scholarships alongside programmes, and once you sign up, we also try to personalise recommendations based on your profile and interests.

Most scholarship applications happen directly through universities or scholarship providers, but we know the process can still feel overwhelming. That’s also why we created Sophia, our AI study advisor, to help students navigate options more easily 😊

At the same time, we don’t think it’s entirely fair to say scholarships or African study opportunities are hidden on our platforms. On all our portals: Mastersportal.com, Bachelorsportal.com, and PhDportal.com, you can search not only for programmes and universities, but also directly for scholarships right from the top navigation.

We also have filters where students can select continents and regions, including Africa. At the moment, students can explore around 2,200 Master’s programmes and 1,700 Bachelor’s programmes in African countries on our platforms.

We hope you’ll give the platform another chance, and if you create a free account, you can also receive more personalized scholarship recommendations based on your profile and interests.

To be fair, it’s probably a good thing we don’t collect or process students’ passports ourselves 😅 Studyportals focuses on helping students discover and compare programmes, while applications and sensitive documents are handled directly on the university websites for better privacy and security.

The network error message definitely sounds confusing though, and we’ll share this feedback with our team to improve the experience and make the process clearer for future students 💙
