★☆☆☆☆ – Ein Albtraum wegen drei einfacher Kautschuk-Uhrenarmbänder!

Was als unkomplizierter Einkauf von drei einfachen Kautschuk-Uhrenarmbändern für meine Omega × Swatch MoonSwatch begann, entwickelte sich zu einem der unerfreulichsten Online-Einkaufserlebnisse, die ich je hatte.

Es handelt sich weder um hochwertige Lederarmbänder noch um besonders kostspielige Luxusaccessoires, sondern um drei gewöhnliche Kautschukarmbänder für jeweils 22,36 €.

22. September 2026 – Bestellung und Bezahlung

Ich bestellte drei Uhrenarmbänder zum Gesamtpreis von 71,03 €, einschließlich 3,95 € Shipping Protection. StrapSeeker bot ausdrücklich kostenlosen registrierten Versand mit einer angegebenen Lieferzeit von 7–12 Arbeitstagen an.

23.–28. September – Undurchsichtige Versandabwicklung

Die Sendung wurde über SkyQuick abgewickelt. Nach mehreren Statusmeldungen erschien am 28. September lediglich der Hinweis auf eine unvermeidbare Transportverzögerung. Eine transparente Erklärung zum weiteren Transportweg erhielt ich zunächst nicht.

30. September – Erste Nachfrage beim Verkäufer

StrapSeeker teilte mit, den Logistikpartner kontaktiert zu haben und sich nach Erhalt weiterer Informationen wieder zu melden. Eine konkrete Lösung blieb aus.

2.–5. Oktober – Weitere Versanddienstleister und überraschende Zusatzkosten

Im weiteren Verlauf stellte sich heraus, dass die Sendung über Großbritannien mit FedEx nach Deutschland transportiert und schließlich Hermes zur Zustellung übergeben werden sollte.

FedEx verlangte plötzlich zusätzlich 40,80 €, aufgeteilt in:

* 3,00 € Einfuhrzoll
* 19,95 € Einfuhrumsatzsteuer
* 17,85 € FedEx-Aufwendungspauschale

Besonders fragwürdig war für mich die Berechnung der Einfuhrumsatzsteuer: 19,95 € entsprechen bei 19 % einer Bemessungsgrundlage von 105,00 €, obwohl der Warenwert nach Rabatt lediglich 67,08 € betrug. Eine nachvollziehbare Aufschlüsselung dieser Bemessungsgrundlage erhielt ich nicht.

Die zusätzlichen 40,80 € entsprachen rund 57 % meines ursprünglichen Gesamtzahlbetrags.

5.–7. Oktober – PayPal, Annahmeverweigerung und trotzdem erfolgte Zustellung

Wegen der ungelösten Probleme eröffnete ich einen PayPal-Fall. Gleichzeitig informierte ich StrapSeeker und die beteiligten Zustelldienste ausdrücklich darüber, dass ich die Annahme verweigere und die Sendung zurückgeführt werden soll.

StrapSeeker bestätigte schriftlich, meine Annahmeverweigerung zur Kenntnis genommen zu haben und sich mit dem Kurierdienst abzustimmen.

Trotzdem wurde die Sendung am 7. Oktober um 12:54 Uhr durch Hermes in meinen Briefkasten gedrückt – ohne Klingeln, ohne persönliche Übergabe und ohne Gelegenheit, die Annahme tatsächlich zu verweigern.

8. Oktober – PayPal-Erstattung und Eingeständnis von FedEx

PayPal schloss den Fall und erstattete den vollständigen Betrag von 71,03 €.

FedEx räumte mir gegenüber anschließend schriftlich ein, dass meine rechtzeitig eingereichte Aufforderung zum Zustellstopp wegen eines hohen Anfrageaufkommens nicht an Hermes weitergeleitet worden war.

StrapSeeker bot zwischenzeitlich an, mir die FedEx-Gebühren von 40,80 € zu erstatten. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt hatte PayPal jedoch bereits den ursprünglichen Kaufpreis zurückgezahlt. Das Angebot löste deshalb die inzwischen entstandene Gesamtsituation nicht sinnvoll.

Mein Fazit

Seit dem 22. September beschäftige ich mich mit Sendungsverfolgungen, verschiedenen Logistikunternehmen, widersprüchlichen Auskünften, zusätzlichen Gebühren, Annahmeverweigerungen und unzähligen Nachrichten.

StrapSeeker hat sich zwar mehrfach entschuldigt und schließlich eine Erstattung der FedEx-Gebühren angeboten. Was ich jedoch vermisst habe, war eine frühzeitige, eigenverantwortliche und durchgreifende Lösung.

Stattdessen musste ich als Kunde immer wieder selbst zwischen Verkäufer und Versanddienstleistern vermitteln.

Um diesen Vorgang endgültig zu beenden, habe ich entschieden, die Uhrenarmbänder zu behalten, die FedEx-Forderung selbst zu begleichen und StrapSeeker zusätzlich eine freiwillige abschließende Einigung über 26,28 € anzubieten.

Drei einfache Kautschuk-Uhrenarmbänder. Fast drei Wochen Ärger. Vier beteiligte Logistik- beziehungsweise Zustellunternehmen und ein Verkäufer, bei dem ich nie wieder bestellen werde.

Für mich ist dieses Einkaufserlebnis eine einzige Enttäuschung.

Ordered a curved rubber strap for the Rolex but it didn't fit the model as advertised.

Unofruntely its a cheap strap from Temu! Visible on the cheap plastic bag!

I want to warn my dear watch enthusiasts.

I purchased a rubber strap for my omega and the packaging showed it comes from Temu. So they literally just dropship the same product for 10x the price, this is beyond crazy. Additionally they sent me the wrong color!

The product is amazing but the customer service is even better. Great people and a great product. I bought two straps. One for an Omega and one for a Rolex. They look and feel just as luxurious as the watches.

I purchased with Strapseeker for the first time 3 weeks ago and somehow the package is lost between Singapore and the US. When I ordered shipment said 7 to 28 days but after 3 weeks it had not moved. I reached out to customer service and apparently, they changed carriers. They are sending another strap free of charge. Let's see if the second one makes it at least in a decent time or if I ever receive the first one.
Aug 31: Second strap finally arrived. It looks like good quality. Size could be a bit off. I ordered the 22mm and it is a bit tight against the watch. Be sure to measure correctly or give them extra space between lugs.

First, watchstraps fit great and look super. Watches now set for summer wear.
Second, Strapseeker not only has quality merchandise, they have fantastic customer service as well. My shipment was not received so using chat to communicate, this fine company replaced the order after I told them it was not received. The turnaround was only 2 days, and items were received when promised. It seems their courier lost the original package.
This company is now my “go to” shop if I ever need straps. I’ll also check website for other items. They have a variety of watches and accessories. It’s great when you can find an online vendor you trust! Thanks again, StrapSeeker!

I found the Seiko Limited Edition (SRPF19K1) that I was looking for in this shop listed much cheaper than what I could find in any european shop.
Was a bit hesitant because there is not much feedback about them anywhere and they ship from Singapore.
In the end I ordered it, paying with Paypal just in case, and everything went great. The watch was at home in less than 1 week (DHL express) in perfect condition. The price was so competitive even after customs it was worth it. Also it is a japanese version of the watch with the day of the week in kanji what is a plus for me in this model.
