Horrible customer service Uncaring Groomers…

Worst customer service ever the Groomer Mayna is rude and aggressive towards customers She has booked us and then the day of as we get there canceled us with no reason just an "oh well I'm not grooming him I'm not doing it click!" Reviews suggest the store is good for everything else other than grooming go to their site to read grooming reviews before you put your pup's lives in their hands!

IN NEED OF TRAINING AT EVERY LEVEL

I purchased a baby snake. Spent $227.00. The tiny snake was put in a box. It looked like something you would use to transport a hamster or a turtle in, with big air vents at the top. When I got home "guess what"? No snake. I went to the store and talked with the manager and of course their not responsible. Petco is 100% responsible for not using the proper container used for snakes to be transported in. Snakes are known escape artist and are supposed to be transported in a tub or a cloth bag in a box. "Google it Petco". I called corporate and the representative called the manager and told me to go back to the store for a store credit or a refund but the manager still refused to give me a refund or credit or to accept any fault or responsibility in the matter. bottom line, buy your reptiles online from a repeatable source with a live arrival guarantee. Thanks

Terrible attitude

I purchased 24 cans of specialty can food for my pup with bladder issues. It took a month to get through 12 cans and by then my dog was sicker. My vet recommended I take her off the food. I went to Petco to return the remaining 12 cans and they said I was beyond 30 days so no refund or store credit. This is expensive food I CAN NOT use. Nick from the Norwalk CT store told me to call customer service, he clearly couldn't be bothered. I asked for a store manager and was told Laura wasn't there, lol, yea right. Terrible experience! Terrible store! Terrible attitude!

No vuelvo a confiar en petco ésimo servicio solicité en la…

Pésimo servicio solicité en la aplicación una bolsa de croquetas confíe y dejé los datos de mi tarjeta para compras posteriores, no lo hagan!!! Resulta que generaron días después 3 compras más sin mi autorización según porque hubo fallas en la aplicación ya pasaron 20 días que es el máximo para el reembolso de mi dinero más de $1000 pesos que han afectado mi economía y nada que resuelven solo me repiten que ya está en proceso lo malo es que no hay donde quejarse!!!

Bad service

They had me wasting time. My dog ​​had an appointment and the grooming front office told me that the vaccines had expired. They sent me to another department to check the vaccines where they told me that they expired. In 2024 I return with the information and oh surprise they can no longer provide the service to my dog ​​because there is already another dog that covered my appointment. Then they tell me that it is Petco's policy that if you are late the appointment is canceled but as I make them understand that I should not be late, the front office made a mistake with my dog's vaccinations. I asked them for a copy of the policy and they didn't have it. I asked them for a phone number to file my complaint and they didn't know. They never accepted responsibility for anything, lousy service.

The staff is friendly and the store is clean but every single fish I've ever bought here dies within a few hours to a few days. I've owned pet fish for the last 35 years, I try not to come here (for fish) but mom and pop pet stores are too far from me buy every single fish I've ever bought here dies within a few days.

Experiencia en compra en linea

Mi experiencia comprando en línea no ha sido nada agradable. En un principio no pude hacer el pago de mi pedido con PayPal, al hacerlo con tarjeta de débito se me generó un cargo doble que tuve que disputar con mi banco. Mi pedido a pesar de estar pagado, jamás se me envió. En atención a clientes solo contestaban que darían seguimiento al pedido y esto jamás pasó. A 8 días del pago de mi pedido, sigo sin un recibir ni el producto ni un reembolso.

follow up to my first review

This is my second review. I don't expect anything to change. I guess I am stuck with an item I don't need. Maybe I can gift it to some one who needs it. All I can say is I read many reviews on petcos company and virtually every one was bad bad bad!. Maybe this will prompter's them to be more considerate of their paying customers. I for one will never shop there again.

Not A Simple Transaction

Other than having the hard-to-find product in stock, Petco and the experience I had with them was rough.

Customer service has no idea what they're doing and their tracking methods are from the Oregon Trail days.

When I finally did get my product, the follow up call I was supposed to have received from a local store was never made.

I'm not one to seek out a store that is supposed to follow up with me either. Moving forward, I'm looking elsewhere. The only reason for the second star is, again, the fact that they had my product in stock, which was a difficult one to find.

Hopefully they can turn their act around and become the brand they once were.

Great experience

We needed dog food so ordered online for store pickup. We received a credit for using online service and they texted us in 10 minutes notifying us our order was ready for pickup. Upon arriving at store all items we ready. Great experience.

Abysmal customer service at Petco Cookeville (TN)

Avoid Petco Cookeville grooming.

Abysmal customer service. Made an appointment in advance for my two labradoodles. Followed Petco rules, including forms with vaccination records. Records came from our kennel, which has the vets' records on file.

Two weeks later, when I arrived for my appointment, groomer would not accept my records. We were able to contact our vet up north for one dog, but the vet for the other (in Crossville) was closed on Saturday.

I asked the groomer to call the kennel so they could send a photo of the other's record, but she refused. It had to be from a vet.

When I told her the record is the same one the vet issued, she said that did not matter. The record must be from a vet.

When I said that is not what the online registration form said, she said that did not matter. When I asked her to look it up, she raised her voice and said it did not matter.

The discussion became a little heated and she refused to groom the pet.

The manager, Seth, said it did not matter what the registration form says, that is their policy.

I contacted the kennel, and they were willing to text a photo of the vaccine record, but groomer and manager said no.

If they want a specific document, they should request it. Two weeks - and an hour drive from Crossville - all wasted.

I went to Petco looking for a companion…

I went to Petco looking for a companion for my little ferret. So, I asked a salesperson for help. From the moment, he came to help me. He pointed out on an old ferret they had for adoption. When I saw it, I felt sorry for that ferret. I asked him if it would be a good companion for my ferret. He said yes (but he doesn't play with my ferret at all). Well, the fact is, they said the ferret was healthy. After a month, I noticed it had something on his neck. I didn't know what was it, but that thing started growing up very fast. I took it to the vet. They told me my poor ferret has a tumor and he needs a surgery. Unfortunately, that surgery is too expensive. I couldn't get it done yet. I had never imagined this would happen.

I was in your store on Lehigh St

I was in your store on Lehigh St. in Allentown last week as was so appreciative of the help I received from Cherie and Wendy. They went above and beyond to help me buy prescription dog food for my dog. There were some issues with trying to figure out how to purchase the food, as it was something new. Both of these ladies spend so much time trying to figure it out and were so kind and helpful. As someone who has worked in customer service for many years, I was truly grateful for all if their help. You are lucky to have such wonderful, caring employees.

Dreadful service from Petco Mexico

Dreadful service from Petco Mexico. Delivered order incomplete in an open box. Chat takes forever and frequently disconnects before they have answered. When they have managed to answer they have told me on that the missing part of the order would be delivered, but this has still failed to materialise after 2 months

FIVE STARS +

My Petco store is in West Dundee, Illinois.
I LOVE the Petco company, my Petco store AND, the Petco Master Card that I got through Petco and with which I earn many great perks that save me money.
I have been shopping with Petco for about 11 years and have never had a bad experience. I often order my organic dog food from their website and if I have ever had even the slightest issue, Petco has ALWAYS made things right for me.
Petco is THE ONLY store that I shop at for my dogs and it is the only place that I will have my dogs groomed.
