The service at the San Diego Airport location is awful and Stone Brewing Company has to take 95% of the blame. It's a systemic ignorance by the company itself that causes the problem.

The staff assumes that the QR code ordering system is working and so they don't pay attention to customers, even within 5 minutes of the customer's arrival. There should at least be acknowledgement within a minute or two when the restaurant is not very busy.

Stone Brewing Company assumes that the QR code system and the QR code label on the table are working flawlessly. Stone Brewing Company assumes that there is no issue with a customer's phone that prevents using the QR code.

Most importantly, Stone Brewing Company is 100% IGNORANT of the fact that there are many people with hidden DISABILITIES, that make QR code ordering systems difficult to use and prone to error.

The food is good, the service poor, and the company totally oblivious to people with visible and invisible disabilities.

I like the liberty station location. Very cute outside with koi fish water display. Food pretty good brewery food! Mac n cheese bussin but small.

I’ve always enjoyed Stone Brewing, but I recently witnessed something that made me question how carefully they monitor groups that use their venues for meetups. There is a Meetup group called “Fun Times in San Diego” / “Conexio”, run by an organizer named Ozzy, that regularly hosts events at Stone locations.

This group has been openly exclusionary and dismissive to new people trying to join. When I politely asked to attend an event, I was met with a hostile message telling me not to show up unless “approved,” without any clear criteria or reason for being denied. It was humiliating and made me feel targeted and unwelcome.

I’m not placing blame directly on Stone, but when a business allows its space to be associated with groups that treat people this way, it reflects poorly on the environment Stone wants to promote.

I would strongly encourage Stone to review who is hosting events under their name and ensure that the atmosphere remains inclusive, respectful, and aligned with the community values Stone is known for.

I've been the Liberty Station a few times per few years. Meet with friends and kids and it's an excellent place to have wonderful selection of beers, good food and a place for the kids to run around and not have to sit at the table in their courtyard.
