The service was excellent
The service was excellent as usual and Dave in the shop catered to our needs. Gary and Mark delivered the goods on time and was very careful in our property. Been dealing with Stevenson's for years and never had a problem and will be back again.

please do not ever buy a mattress from…
please do not ever buya mattress from this company have had a mattress for less that a month I can not sleep on it it hurts my hips at first they said they would exchange so I went into the shop to pick another one but was told the man who knows about mattress was not in the shop so I said I would come back so I rang them back as my dad had a heart attack explaining i would come in the next day to be told they will not exchange it so if anyone o here could off some advice on this matter I would be very grateful as it looks like I have thrown a thousand pounds down the drain very very unsatisfied customer as they have left a reply iam editing this review this is not wahat happend as Angela is stating why would i go back into the shop and start tring out new beds when i have to pay for a new one this is totally untrue and they never emailed me back after the first phone call another lie so please arr on all caution when you are thinking of making a purchase from this company to and to insult the are also liars they should state that when you are spending that much money they have a no return policy as i also brought a pillow for 60 pound which was not suitable and was offerd a credit note there is nothing in that shop for 60 pound i a single parent and can not afford to loose this amount of money this is totally heartbreaking for me right on top of xmas very upset customer even more now with the lies

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are genuinely sorry to hear that you’re not getting on with your mattress, and we understand how frustrating that can be.
However, we would like to clarify the situation for transparency:
You contacted us the day after collecting the mattress, and our manager advised that we would look into your request.
The same day our Director then emailed to explain that, due to hygiene regulations, mattresses cannot be returned or exchanged once used unless a manufacturing fault is identified. No such fault has been reported — your concern relates solely to comfort. We also included a care guide within that email to help with the initial settling-in period.
We understand that spending nearly £800 on a mattress is a significant investment. With this in mind, all our sales team are trained to ensure customers try mattresses in-store for extended periods to confirm the correct mattress is selected for both comfort and support.
You tried the mattress in-store prior to purchase and informed our team that you found it very comfortable, so we were surprised to hear of such a difference when reviewing the call recordings.
When you called again several days later, our team member invited you to come into the store so we could discuss the matter further — not to reselect a mattress. For training purposes, we have listened back to this call and can provide it if required.
Following further investigation with management, and as confirmed with yourself, the mattress is currently being used directly on the floor. This will significantly change the feel and support of a foam mattress compared to using it on a suitable bed base.
We always strive to act fairly and with understanding, and we take all customer concerns seriously. In this case, the statements made in the review do not reflect the conversations and actions that took place. We believe our team have acted with integrity and in full accordance with our policies.
If you would like guidance on how to achieve the best comfort and support from your mattress, our team remains more than happy to help.

As mentioned, if you would still like support in ensuring that the mattress you tried and purchased in our store is performing at its best, we welcome you to visit us in person. We understand that a mattress is an important investment, and correct use is essential for long-term comfort and longevity. Mattress Newbie
Went in, not know much about buying mattresses, and took my dad with me, as he had a positive experiance when he purchased a new bed and matress himself.
Now, i cannot, for the life of me remeber the name of the lady who helped me out, but she did a stellar job, and i ended up purchasing a mattress from you. I am delighted with it, and i look forward to many comfortable nights.

Bed delivery
On a very wet day the delivery guys ensured they put sheets down in my hallway when delivering our new bed and mattress. They also proceeded to take off their boots when entering the bedroom to position the bed. Polite and efficient throughout. Thank you.

Disappointed that an item was advertised as in stock when ordered and paid for and said 1/2 days to dispatch I rang and emailed to find out that it was out of stock and there will be around a two week delay

I've bought a cabinet form Stevenson's £1000+ and I've just purchased a puoffe for my 87 year old father so he can rest his legs on. The pouffe was only £42.00 in a sale.What I appreciate shopping at Stevenson's is it doesn't matter whether it's big or small, expensive or clearance price either way the customer service is always second to none and your always treated the same every time with friendly people who work there.
