Great service today
The agent I spoke to today was really helpful and was able to answer my query and send through the relevant information I needed during our phone call.
I had previously emailed two members of staff and had no response so it was great to get it sorted.

What a refreshing change
What a refreshing change - proper professional customer service - very friendly and knowledgeable person on the other end of the telephone - Dean what a credit to the company you are
We had a one-off enquiry which is a little complicated but Dean took all the details and was very understanding and said someone from the Team would be in touch to quote for our requirements lovely lad ! If the service from the company is as good as Dean was on contact then we are sorted

Total lack of management control and customer service
An urgent collection of clinical waste was agreed with the customer services team because the sales executive failed to respond to calls and emails. It is impossible to talk to anybody with authority in this company. On the day of collection we were emailed to say the collection was rebooked for the following week with no explanation of why. Fortunately there are other companies in this space that could help us solve the problem. Stericycle refused to take any responsibility for their errors

Sharps waste disposal
In the past, I had several negative experiences with other sharps disposal companies, especially Divert. I searched for quotes and found Stericycle; their customer service is personal, quick to respond, and genuinely cares about their clients, especially the support staff member called Dean. Their transit and depot teams have been smooth to work with, and any required adjustments were quickly addressed. They have a great follow-up system and collection reminders. So far, everything has been positive, but I will monitor their consistency over time before finalising this review.

Shocking Service
If I could give this company a review of -1000 I would. They are absolutely shocking and don't know what the meaning of service is!!! I have had numerous collection issues and spent hours on the phone to resolve the same problem over and over again and they just cant get it right. Their drivers obviously don't care about the job they are doing and the customer service has no control over the transport business. They are useless. They have cost me money on a number of occasions from issues with their drivers. I keep on spending valuable time that I don't have trying to resolve this ongoing issue with zero results. I wish I had never engaged with this company.

We switched from Initial to Stericycle…
We switched from Initial to Stericycle last year. We haven't had any issues with the service and the Customer services team is also efficent and reliable. I had to contact them about our scheduled collection the other day and did find dealing with Dean S very easy, he was the most helpful.
Suggestion: would be great if the collection schedule would be either automatically emailed to us each year without having to request it or we could find this on our online account

Adding Email to account
Daniele got my email address added to their system so I can receive invoices to our Account department email. This will help avoid missed invoices when other staff members are off sick

I’m leaving a second negative review
I’m leaving a second negative review. After my first I was asked to contact them. I was initially really pleased by the responsiveness. They arranged a new collect date - the exact same thing happened again. It got to the afternoon, I got suspicious so I phoned at 13.30 they told me not to worry they’d be here by 5. They didn’t show up again. I complained again- no reason why. Told I have to wait another week. I’ve cancelled and gone with PHS. Stay away from stericycle.

Since using this service I have not been let down. Martin was excellent on the phone- polite and professional. I asked him to email my sharps pick up info and he did so promptly.
