I ordered a replacement frame and lenses for glasses I bought in 2025. I wanted the same frame and type of lenses for the replacement glasses--and an order was submitted and paid for. After a week or two, I received a text that my glasses were available for pickup. I went to the store, but the glasses were not there. Two days later I received another text the glasses were in. I went to the store, and the glasses were there--but the lenses were installed in a different color frame. Staff advised the replacement frame I wanted was not available--and set the lenses in another color of frame. While I did receive a 20% discount for the cost of the replacement lenses, I think it would have been better from a business/customer relationship to allow me the chance to pick another frame that was closer to the original--ideally at the original visit. Since I had gone a couple weeks without the glasses, I chose to just take the replacement frame as is--despite the color--and staff gave me a 20% discount. The staff at the store were good to work with.

I loved how they run the store. The doctor was great answering my questions. I choose to pair of glasses I was able to add features to the pair and take off to what I could spend. I'll be going back for sure

I had been having headaches and decided to see if I needed glasses. I had a virtual appointment that cut out 5 minutes into the virtual exam due to technical issues and I was told I needed to start from the beginning with a new person. They used the exact same exam material the second time and I came out with a prescription that was WILDY inaccurate. I put on the glasses and immediately noticed an issue but was told my eyes would take time to adjust to the prescription.

I later got an exam from a reputable in-person optometrist and came out with a prescription that is totally different than what Stanton gave and glasses that actually help me see.

What I have experienced is medical malpractice in my opinion and I plan to report the doctor that signed off on this prescription to DSPS WI. I ask that anyone else that has experienced a similar situation to this to do the same.

I would have left this alone if I came out of this bad experience only having lost $79, but with up-charge on the 2 pairs of glasses that were pushed, I walked out of there having paid over $400.

Luce was a excellent representative of Stanton Optical. She examined my previous glasses, read my last optical exam, and explained the Zoom Exam. She was helpful in suggesting frames. She explained options and pricing to my satisfaction.

Tenzen and the other staff at my local stanton optical made looking for glasses fun. i lost track of time playing "dress up" with the various glasses I picked out as well as the employees. This was the second time I had comepleted my eye exam with Stanton and I am still very pleased with the experience and quality.
