This is my second time coming to this place. I’m always treated with respect love and they are very good at helping. Find the perfect fit.

After we retired we moved to Hickory NC and it was time for me
get an eye exam and new glasses.
On March 12th 20026 stop by Stanton optical to get more information and cost for a good glasses plus exam.
Walked in the door and was greeted by nice lady Lynn, Explain her what I was looking for, she presented all the options Stanton Optical offers.
Lynn helped with choosing designer frames and lenses. She was very professional and pleasant to talk to .
Choose the best lenses and frame to make sure that I have a good vision.
My appointment was March 14th /2026, when I arrived I was waiting approximately 15-20 minutes, then it was my turn to check my eyes.
Nice lady explained the procedure at each station then took me to a room with a virtual person on the screen.
It was new for me, I always had people checking my eyes, so it was a little distracting for me, it took a couple minutes to get used to it.
All went well , however it was missing a human touch with the virtual exam but that is my personal preference.
My glasses were delivered on March 22/2026 way before estimated time.
When I arrived to pick up my glasses, a nice lady found my order, and brought my glasses in a really cheap case.
To my surprise, no one asked or checked if the glasses fit or perhaps needed some adjustment.
Overall experience was positive, it would be nice to have more elegant frames to choose, but understand that the market dictates what is on demand.

I didn't care to much for eye exam because I feel like my eyes aren't adjusting well to theses glasses. Also, glasses are expensive if you have insurance

The only thing I was disappointed on was punctuality. I was in the waiting room for a long time before I was seen.

All staff was friendly, helpful, and seemed to know what they were talking about. Lots of glasses options to choose from as well.

Had a great experience at the Hickory, NC store. All staff were very helpful, including Lori. Got my pair of glasses in less than two weeks. Very happy overall!

For some reason my glasses had very little distance vision when they came in. I had to pick out a different frame and have that frame sent out for lenses. Very frustrating because after spending all that time picking out glasses, they suggested I pick a different frame- after the origins pair came in incorrectly.

The man that helped me took me in with very little wait time. He was very honest and kind.
My overall experience there was great!!!

Wife told me to go here. Wait times were long. Ended being way more expensive than I feel as though we're fair. The frames we're all brands I've never heard of despite being name brand prices. Sales person was very upsale heavy. Everyone was kind and professional. Just the business model gave me the ick and feels like Iike a scam. Also smells great cuz its next to a bbq place lol for that I give 3 stars

Glasses were ready sooner than expected

The people who work there are extremely nice, "down to earth" . The service was great! They use the most updated modern technology for exams. They have unlimited resources of glasses and contacts. Their prices are unbeatable!!!!

I had randomly decided to go get glasses (I had been needed them for quite a while now) when I saw an ad for Stanton. I figured I’d give them a try. They were great! They seemed to be a bit understaffed and busy busy busy but they made to sure to greet everyone that walked in. Lynn helped me thru the whole process (needed help it had been 20+ years since I had glasses last) and she was phenomenal!
I came back about a week later to pick up my new glasses and was helped by Anthony. He made sure my glasses fit just right and they sent me on my way. Would highly recommend going there.
OH! The optometrist (don’t remember his name) was amazing as well. Very funny and down to earth kinda guy!

The optometrist and supporting staff was above and beyond my expectations. They treated each person that walked through the door with kindness, knowledge and attention. I do believe I found my permanent eye care place!

It was terrible , I was waited for almost 4 hours , the try to sold me a expensive glasses even when I asked about the promotion that it said there 2 pair of glasses for 79 dollars with the examen incluid , then they sent me a message that the lgssses are ready and when I went they are not ready yet and the prescription wasn’t how the made my glasses and aferre a week o didn’t get my glasses yet , it was a disaster if somebody ask for you guys I never recommend you
