Thanks very much for the service review and perhaps when you have had time to evaluate the fairing bolt kit, you might update this and let us all know how you find it compared to the OEM bolts etc. I spent a long time getting the contents sorted so I do welcome any feedback or suggestions for the relatively new product offering.

Over a thousand bar risers have sold over the years and their longevity is a sure testimony to their quality and value. The advantage they give when slow manoeuvring is marked and also the additional benefit of a more upright posture, over long distances, cannot be overlooked.

Once again, thanks for the great review. These bolt kits are a new venture and I think represent excellent value for the price and quality. Make sure you take advantage of the instruction diagram as well as the printable panel schematics. Paste them onto a thick card, poke in a few holes and you have a great handy workshop tool where every bolt and fairing clip can be kept in its allocated place.

Many thanks for your review and pointing out the details of the fairing protectors. The priplak material is very hard wearing and I’ve never heard of anyone wearing them through. There are similar products which don’t have that quality and thickness but I prefer to fit once then never have to worry about a replacement.

Just purchased a pair of rear crash…
Just purchased a pair of rear crash bars.The quality is very good. Fitting instruction good make sure you follow the advise. My only thought and concern is I am not sure if the intrude a little on the rear passenger boot and would it not have been better to bend them the other way towards to panner and follow the flow of the panner.?

Thank you for the kind review, left publicly and the 5 stars too. I am pleased you like the quality and that the fitting instructions helped too. As for the design, we do put a lot of time and effort into this and to do as you suggested would mean that the pannier would not open. The original design was actually straight out from the frame and some customers didn't like the fact that the pannier lid came into slight contact with the bars. Being flexible, the lid does actually still open fully but we changed to design to what it is now to solve that slight issue. So, as you can probably understand now, if we were to angle it rearwards, it would be a retrograde step in that respect.
