I bought a Pana/Lumix Leica m4/3 lens. It was the best price then online. Packaging was clean and it came with all the retail advertised "what's in the box" items including the manufacturer's warranty. Shipping was very good. Later I had a question, phone response was good. Maybe for some not warm & fuzzy but answered the question.

Awful experience. Refused to let us return a $10,000 lens we purchased. Hung up on me when I called 4 times. Claimed to have a refund policy. Refused to give an RMA. 24 days later they said it is after their 30 day window when it is not. By far the worst experience I have ever had.

(I would have given less than 0, if possible). I have not had as bad of an experience with a company as I have had with SSE Photo and Video. I ordered a JVC PZ100 remote camera for a church that utilizes the camera for Sunday streaming services. I expected a next business day delivery. When I didn't receive the camera on the expected day, I called the SSE support line to check on the progress of the order (mind you, this was 3 days after I ordered the camera on next business day). I was surprised to find out that the camera was out of stock, and was not expected to b restocked. In fact, it was out of stock when I ordered it. My credit card was charged. A few things have ramped up my frustration.
1. The billing department DOES NOT have a line to directly talk to any representative.
2. The support staff CANNOT include you on any correspondence, since according to them "it is an internal correspondence".
3. Even though, SSE has admitted its error, no communication has been provided as to when something will be done.
4. Finally, when I asked to speak to a manager, I was transferred to a nameless voice mail "extension 1001".
My church is down since my money is tied up. There are other video dealers out there, and I will be buying from them instead. Hopefully this will be resolved quickly, but if the events of this week, indicate, I seriously doubt it!

I received a camera that did not have the warranty card or instruction manual. I immediately contacted the company and returned the camera bundle by mail. The company issued a full refund without a restocking fee. I was grateful.

I ordered a Nikon p1000, and Steve answered all my questions and was very nice. I ordered overnight delievery later in the day on Wednesday, and got it Thursday morning. He got my order on the truck promptly. Everything was packed good with no damage. Steve said if I had any questions about the camera to call him. I'm so glad I have this camera and went through SSE Photo Video. And camera was priced at a great price.

Great price. Very fast shipping. Item is exactly as described. Steve, the sale rep., was very helpful and friendly. A happy purchasing experience. Will do business with this vendor again.

The seller advertises more items than they send. Accessories of inferior quality or even branded for another camera. Return policies are prohibitive and no real solution. I wish I had researched the before buying!

I was doing some Black Friday shopping for Olympus tg-6 camera. I found not only the best price here, but it included a bundle of accessories for the camera! When I didn't get the confirmation email right away I called the company and an "understandable" human answered the phone, made sure my order was in and was very pleasant. Said the order would probably ship on Monday, but I actually GOT IT on Monday. So happy I discovered this place!!!!!

They are very easy to work with and even called me to make sure I will be at home for the delivery of my camera. I have purchased my Leica Q2 last October 2022. I have bought a Canon R6 last April 2022 and several Olympus lenses last 2018. All have been processed properly.

Sold me a camcorder without the features I needed. I sent it back and you charged me a restocking fee.

big purchase items and after being charged and having the money transferred from my account i contacted them about why i hadn’t recieved an update or my item purchases in which i had a receipt and my account statements to show, the rep told me they did not have item in stock and id get a refund, well no refund ever came for a drone over $4000!!! i also ordered a smart controller shortly after the first purchase and the same story’s, why would u list an item as available charge a customer send a receipt and confirmetion of purchase and then wait to tell me u don’t have in stock? and never returning my funds never receiving product? i filed a report with the ftc And all other avenues for consumer protection. this company is a scam

I’ve shopped before for cameras and lenses in other big name online camera dealers; till I found SSE. Their prices is mostly lower than those big name competitors. They deliver exactly what you order, real fast, and if you need assistance with your purchases, they answer your call immediately, and you talk to a real person. Highly recommend. 👍

I purchased a Nikon P1000 from these folks and It not only arrived in a timely fashion but was exactly as advertised! It was during the COVID shut-in months. If I had to be home bound, I knew I couldn't spend it watching TV. So I decided to go online, buy a camera and try photography...something that I could do alone. I checked out and priced everyone and read all the reviews I am glad that I chose SSE Photo Video! The camera has kept me so occupied and so busy and having so much fun and creating for the last several months/years (who remembers?) that I totally forgot to write a review! And now that my Gallery/Picture Frame Shop is open to the public again, I am selling a lot of those photos! Yes! I would buy from this company again!

Bought a Nikon d850 a couple of years ago. Shipping was fat and I've had no problems with the camera.

bought a video camera here they didnt send what was shown and said it was back ordered by the time i found out that i had powered it up and then they said i couldnt return it and wouldnt give a refund of what i bought it for..i only had it for a day and when i found out the other items they didnt have a date i would get them i wanted to return it.. they kept about 80 dollars of my money because i did return it. i need the lenses.. bad service dont buy from them

It was a small accessory that I ordered. Shipping was not fast but also not slow. Price was good and product was as described. I will buy again from them.
