Don't bother with sse rubbish

Anyone thinking of going with sse business don't bother. There nothing more that a rip off . £178 for 3 weeks for electric for a lock up very rarely use . D Turpin daylight robbery.

great service

I have had any problems with banks and utilities but rischi turned up trumps. Thank you. Why are you a contractor ? you should be a permanent member of staff

Christmas Day saved

I know SSE get a lot of negative press but I am in awe of what they did today. The power to our house was affected due to an unknown issue that we found at 6am this morning. Within an hour of calling we had an engineer out to diagnose the problem. By 10:30 we had a generator on our doorstep and power restored. On Christmas Day 4 engineers + 2 people on the help desk. All with a smile and no issue being away from their families at Christmas. We cannot thank them enough and they deserve a round of applause. Running a huge company that supplies us with energy everyday i feel is taken for granted and sometimes the men and women who work tirelessly day in day out to do their best and do their part of a making huge organisation work and bring power to our homes is overlooked. I know maybe these big companies don’t have the best overall service but what the men and women who scrambled to help us today did was incredible so thank you and I hope everyone treats the engineers that come to their homes with the upmost respect that they deserve!

Overall had a bad experience with the…

Overall had a bad experience with the SSEs customer service

However some of the team members have been so unbelievably helpful (Hassan from the billing team and Kerry from moving) and i cannot sing there praise enough!

should be a 1-2 star without them for the company however they where both just so helpful that they alone deserve 5 stars

I tried to call SSE energy three times…

I tried to call SSE energy three times on the phone, each time waited mor than 30 minutes without answering. Customer service is appalling all you get are recorded messages from machines.

Efficient and helpful

I had the pleasure of speaking to Jasmin Grover of SSE Energy yesterday and she was most efficient and helpful in solving my issue. It was very refreshing having someone listen to the issue and resolve it speedily and satisfactorily.

Resolved - A 30-year small business customer - What's so hard?

I have been trying to renew our SME contract with SSE for THREE MONTHS and have even now written to their CEO. Their Complaints Dept (I have a Case ID) gives you the generic customer service number to call, who know nothing about your complaint!
At LONG LAST TODAY I spoke to someone who could actually help and has resolved (at least temporarily) our issue. Long story short, our bills would have increased by a factor of EIGHT TIMES had Mani - Venkata Pasumarthy [Mani] - in the SME Sales Dept. not set up a 5-month fixed term contract at near to our existing tariff level, to give SSE time to sort out installing a meter for our unmetered street-lighting supply. Well Done, Mani. But the rest of your colleagues either need new systems or new jobs.

I've never seen a company with such bad…

I've never seen a company with such bad customer service.

If you have to deal with them I advise recording everything, their staff are clearly not well trained you will have multiple different answers and don't know who to believe. Keep everything recorded to cover your back as they really don't know what they are doing.

Worst customer service

As a business customer
Sse has to be hands down the worst company we have ever had the misfortune of dealing with.
Theu have zero customer care and worse customer complaints we have ever dealt with spent hours on the phone week after week trying to resolve issues. Final straw was when money they owed us paid it into the previous owners bank account
How there still up and running is beyond me
So glad we change energy suppliers
Please don't use this company

Kian - Smart metering team

I cannot praise Kian in the smart metering team enough. He will always look to assist where he can and if he doesn't know the answer will find out and provide us with an update. Kian is a true credit to SSE and the smart metering team. Its refreshing to deal with someone who not only knows their stuff but also who ensures everything runs as smoothly as possible. Thank you for always going the extra mile when you are extremely busy.

Jasmin Grover was very patient with me…

Jasmin Grover was very patient with me and explained clearly what my options were. She was clearly showing that she wanted to give me the best deal she could. She gave me plenty of opportunities to ask questions and I felt that she is an outstanding member of your sales team. I did not feel pressurred at all.
The best I will ask to speak to her directly if I have queries. Diolch Jasmin.

ALSO AN EMPLOYEE AT SSE COVENTRY

Where do I even start with this company!!

All reviews wrote from previous employees are all true working at this place is an absolute joke if you want to shorten you’re lifespan by half apply to Coventry SSE campaign they are always hiring as that’s how bad the turnover is

Company’s policy are all a joke one rule I noticed is no phones are suppose to be on floor but tell me why you will see all managers on there phone even taking pictures of the screen and who knows what they are doing with the information displayed!

going through data protection with customers has to be the worst who exactly made the rules this all has to be changed as it makes no sense at all you will get employees who will fail you and others who will pass you that’s how much of joke it is big businesses should stay away from using sse as you’re information is not protected at all just depends which employee you get through to as no one has a clue on what to do

And don’t even get me started about the smart meters anyone who reads this avoid getting it and falling for the trap it will only ruin you’re experience more and you are also pressured into getting customers to get one and if not managers will put you through disciplinary which they themselves know that smart meters are a scam but are just sses toys and do what they say

I ADVISE ALL EMPLOYEES WHO SEE THIS TO STAND UP AND LEAVE A REVIEW SO ALL THE CUSTOMERS CAN SEE HOW CORRUPT THIS BUSINESS IS SO THEY CAN AVOID IT

GOODLUCK TO ANYONE WHO IS STILL WORKING THERE BUT EVEN LUCK IS NOT ENOUGH HERE

Helpful and understanding …

On this occasion your representative, Hrishike Talekar, very helpful and hopefully will solve a long standing enquiry regarding the direct debits of our Chapel account. After several phone calls and speaking to a number of people Hrishike Talekar gave me the most confidence that the problem would be resolved. It was a pleasure to discuss the problem with someone so helpful and understanding .

I would like to mention about only…

I would like to mention about only person in the whole SSE is the guy from sse business sales department name Venkata Pasumarthy [Mani], who tried to resolve my issue and helped in calm down my frustration triggered by whole sse including all departments and their representatives.
This guy Mani, personally looked into my raised cases and resolved them in a half day which were pending from last 3 months and no one was even bothering and responding and taking pain to resolve the issue.
No Star for SSE but 5 Stars for Mani.
