Half a century of supplying needlework kits and materials, we now stock yarns for all budgets and styles. Needlework materials are from Appletons, DMC, Permin, Zweigart and Riolis, with kits from Bothy Threads, Lanarte and Heritage Crafts amongst others. We offer a free thread matching service for new and discontinued designs. A limited range of Paterna yarns are still available. There's yarns for knitting and crochet from Cygnet Yarns, James C Bretts, byLaxton and West Yorkshire Spinners, with needles, hooks, patterns and other accessories (we print online patterns for a small charge). What makes the difference is that the two people who own and run the shop are as enthusiastic about needlework and yarn as you are! We hope we can really help in tracking down yarns that match and help you start (or finish) every project. We offer help in the shop, or by telephone, email and snail mail. Online shop has no minimum order, free UK postage for orders over £50.

Good service

Item arrived as described and came in good time. Would have appreciated instructions for knitting the scarf online or with the product rather than on the back of the band label

Absolutely Brilliant Service

Absolutely Brilliant Service. Ordered online, when acknowledgement came through realised the address was wrong - how this happened don't know probably because I used autofil. Rang immediately, phone answered very promptly, explained situation, told not to worry as could be easily altered. Wool posted out that afternoon and arrived in time for Christmas. I can throughly recommend them.

2nd time of ordering with Spinning…

2nd time of ordering with Spinning Jenny and won’t be last. Really helpful and also prompt in dealing with enquiries and order arrived the following day. Good website and reasonably priced, many thanks.
