Was good fun. Lots of lovely people.

Not a great experience. Venue didn’t even think it was on. Host was late and not the friendliest. Less than half the men turned up so hardly any dates. You get a free ticket if you don’t match but you need to use it in 3 months! Not that I will be returning anyway. A lot of money for what it is.

Cancelled event at last minute, rebooked me on one a month later. I couldn't make it and requested a refund, which was ignored.

Name didnt appear on the feedback site. I had no emails, nothing

This was my first time at speed dating even though I didn’t find a connection I thoroughly enjoy getting to know people everybody was really nice

Turned up for the event after an hour travel and was told the host hadn't arrived yet. That was fine, I was 5 mins early. Registration was meant to be at 7pm.. got to 7.25pm and enquired again and the host was a no show. I called Speeddater who told me that the date had been moved. I had no comms regarding this. I requested a refund, and they refused!!!!! Instead gave me a free ticket!!!! Why would I want to return after this lack of customer service. Stay clear of this company and dont sign up for anything.

They simply do not reply to you. I've chased several times now and no reply.

I wasn’t nervous, but being my first time I also didn’t know what to expect. Sam who ran our group was AMAZING- lovely person and everyone was just completely good/nice vibes and I found the entire experience to be extremely empowering. Very grateful. Thank you! 😊😊 - Paul

Only 5 dates...no email the next day to ask for my matches. No response to 2 emails regarding this

The host was great. First time I've been on a speed dating event. The turn out was not great. We almost had the event cancelled as the majority ladies arrived late. The numbers were low, only 5 interactions

I attended a speed dating event with SpeedDater on the 2nd of September in Bristol. The event itself was fine, I had a bit of fun and it was nice to meet new people. The next day, I got a match but the person messaging me didn’t seem to be the same person I met in person. Their messages were in broken English despite them being fluent in person with a Londoner accent, and they didn’t remember anything from our conversation that we had in person. It left me feeling deeply uncomfortable and concerned about safeguarding and vetting.

I raised this with customer service over the phone, but they dismissed it outright, saying behaviour outside the app/website is nothing to do with them and they don't want to make any effort to make me feel reassured. They made no effort to investigate, speak to me in a respectful way or even make me feel heard as a customer.

This shows a lack of care for customer safety and experience. I expected much better from a company that handles personal data, matches, and face-to-face introductions. I can't fault the host, they were lovely, but the company itself stinks and I will avoid them like the plague and urge others to do so, if they care about their own personal safety.

Sam was lovely as a host.
To be fair they instantly addressed that only 5 men showed up and offered us a free ticket for another which I will take up, my only criticism is about the follow up admin to determine if a match was made is very slow and archaic, it would be better just to find out on the night.

Glasgow evening speed dating went ahead and on time, although the ratio was 4-8 women. It didn't make sense that they were still selling women tickets the day before although it stated male tickets had sold out the day before. Disappointing if men had bought tickets and didn't show up because only 4 men turned up in the end.

The host - Sam was very respectful and wonderful. She arranged the place in a very romantic way with flower leaves on the tables which gives an emotional moment.

Event was okay but didn't get an email after.

Have filled in likes on the website but looks like no one else got an email either

Sam the host was lively and made everyone feel at ease. Everyone we’re really nice
