I have used Spectacles Direct before and have always had good service. This time I needed new varifocal lenses in my sunglasses and used their lenses-in-glasses on-line service. I sent the old sunglasses off to them, spoke to them on the phone to discuss what I wanted and had the reglazed glasses back in less than a week. Excellent service at a very competitive price. - Recommended

Order very easy to place but had a phone call soon after from a technician to clarify my order and make sure there were no mistakes.

I almost never feel compelled to leave reviews but I have been so impressed by this company that I have to make an exception. I have just received my glasses back in less than a week since making an online request for a reglaze and they are perfect. The lenses were made up to a new prescription but are an identical specification to the original ones and an incredible 75% cheaper. Wayne, who dealt with my order, is not only thoroughly competent and professional but genuinely seems to have the customer's best interests at heart. He made the customer experience a really positive one and deserves much credit. I would have no hesitation in recommending SpectaclesDirect to anyone.

I would highly recommend Spectacles Direct. I had a pair of beloved 20 year old frames that I fancied wearing again. All I had to do is send them off in the little brown box with prescription details, have a chat about exactly which lens thickness I wanted and in a couple of days they were sent back to me ready to be worn. What could be easier ?

If you haven't tried Spectacles Direct after being given your new prescription I would suggest you give them a try. Expert advice with choosing frames from a large selection and at a very reasonable price. My varifocals are perfect!

The Oakley sunglasses I bought were the best price I could find, I ordered them at 3pm and they were delivered at 11am the next day. I don't think I could be more impressed or satisfied with the overall service, and the sunglasses are perfect too.
I would absolutely buy from them again, the trustpilot feedback reassured me that this was a decent company and it's absolutely justified.

Good Company

Had my glasses done intended to be a back-up pair. Had them for a week,
and when I realised I had left my main glasses at my sisters, I got them
out to wear them.

Had an important job interview, and was wearing them on for about 5
minutes when I was in and the lens fell out!

I was utterly embarrassed! I don't think this company appreciates
attention to detail or taking the time to do a job properly, or they
would not have rushed it or paid such little attention to them. I took
them to an Opticians who said the lens was too small.....How do you make
a lens too small???!!! My day was ruined. I am furious to say the
least. Never again!

If you value fast AND efficient service look no further. YOU are not a number but a customer for excellent products and real service. Such an organisation deserves to prosper. I.D.U.

Only one criticism, it would be helpful to have a leaflet enclosed with returned order on how to adjust frames if bifocals need adjusting for correct focus, as generally this is carried out by optician when collecting glasses. Otherwise I would recommend this service to anyone with total confidence.

Always a little nervous about buying things that require customisation on the internet. I'm no optician so interpreting the prescription was not my forte.
A very quick phone cal put me at ease. I was able to upload the prescription thereby taking me out of the equation. Brilliant.
Submitted the order, was communicated with all the way through the very fast process and got the glasses delivered within 48 hours . Amazing service.
