Be very very careful ordering from this site. I'm writing this on behalf of my sister because I am so appalled at their terrible service and lack of ethics.
My sister purchased a pair of boots which turned out to be too small (following THEIR sizing advice).
She promptly informed Spartoo of the need to return them, which they approved. Within a few days she had sent the parcel back (had to buy a box for this as Spartoo had actually shipped the boots without a shoe box and their mailing carton got crushed en route!) and they received it in about a week.
Well surprise -- Spartoo refused the parcel because they were required to pay customs fees and they returned the parcel to sender. How ridiculous can a company get? Don't have overseas customers if you can't handle this!!
As everyone knows, and as our local post confirms, customs for receiving returns is the responsibility of the merchant recipient and is dictated by the merchant's country!
But Spartoo held the parcel in France for close to a MONTH before returning to sender, presumably to make any claims difficult for the customer!
The boots arrived back here unopened, and on being questioned, Spartoo eventually apologised for the inconvenience, telling my sister to RESEND the parcel -- for another $70 I suppose!! -- this time requesting that she print some documents to attach to the parcel (they had not mentioned this in the initial return approval). They didn't even have the decency to say they would pay for the return shipping.
My goodness, how ridiculous and unprofessional can a company be?
