I scheduled on Friday for a Monday cleaning - the online booking process was very easy. Niurka arrived perfectly on time and was able to work around my movers as this was a move out clean. She worked extremely hard until the job was finished and would book again in the future if we didn’t move out of state! Thanks for leaving the place sparkly!

I don't write reviews...ever really. The company asked me to give one and I agreed because the service was superb. Adriana arrived on time (early actually) and methodically and thoroughly cleaned an empty 2 bedroom/2 bathroom, and she wiped down an empty refrigerator. Everything was done as promised.

Our first cleaning with Sparkly Maid was fine. For the second, we specifically requested the same single cleaner and were assured she would return. Instead, she arrived with three additional people who were complete strangers to us and had never been disclosed or approved.

After the cleaning, we discovered two damaged bathroom fixtures and at least $400 missing from our son’s wallet. The smaller bills were left behind. We filed a Chicago Police report.

We had already paid $252 and tipped the crew $80. We have never requested those payments back—only reimbursement for approximately $600 in missing cash and damage.

The company acknowledged receiving our damage photographs, then later claimed we had provided no evidence. It delayed addressing the claim while insisting on telephone calls despite our request for a written record, and provided no insurance or bond claim information despite advertising that its cleaners are insured and bonded.

Its final response called us emotional and unprofessional and ended with “see you in court.”

Trust is the entire product when a company sends people into your home. I cannot recommend Sparkly Maid.

I’ve been using Sparkly Maid for almost a year and they’ve been very reliable and easy to work with. Patricia has gone above and beyond with her service. She left my place spotless and even got the hard to reach places like the inside of my air fryer and the bottom of my electric toothbrush! Her attention to detail is amazing.

Rina was amazing. The communication was thorough and on time through the service. The cleaners even arrive one hour early and cleaned the entire house (4 beds 2 baths) from top to bottom. Couldn’t be more satisfied

Scheduling by phone was easy, they came quickly within 2 days, and person on phone was pleasant, honest, and they have straightforward , transparent prices. I called several cleaning services, but Sparkly Maids stood out for ease of scheduling quickly and transparent prices they stick to. Yoscarlis did a great job cleaning my house and knew what needed to be done even though it was her first time cleaning my house. She worked efficiently , was very pleasant, and will definitely have her clean again. Highly Recommend Sparkly Maids and will have Yoscarlis come again.

My experience with Sparkly Maid was TERRIBLE. The staff acted unprofessionally, and the service did not meet my expectations. I was very disappointed with how everything was handled. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company and encourage others to do their research before hiring them.

It is not always easy to find a cleaning company you can depend on, however, I have found Sparkly Maid to be dependable in all aspects. The employees are friendly, and respectful of your personal property. They also pay close attention to the small details that many other cleaning services miss. Coming home to a clean house without the hassle of trying to do it yourself was wonderful! I would certainly recommend Sparkly Maid to friends and family👌🏻😄

Where do I start? Oh well! The job made at my place was mediocre. I asked for a refund and they agreed to give me $150 and I agreed. From there calls and texts (several) back and forth about: yes, we need to verify your address and this and that for the immediate refund. Until I was asked to delete a reviewed that I made about how this company zero communication skills work but not really. The owner is very aggressive. She didn’t even know that refund was for that amount. She is actually crazy: calling me bully, telling me to stop harrasing them, saying that I was crazy to ask for full refund which I never asked for. I deeply regret wasting my money with these horrible, classless, obnoxious characters. Do not hire this company at all if you live in Chicago. They have other bad reviews with very serious accusations and the reputation really follows their mediocre business.

I had an absolutely awful experience with Sparkly Maids. I paid for there move out special which has a extensive checklist attached to it. First off, the cleaner had set my A/C to 55 and left it. 55 in the Texas summer! And mind you no one is currently living there, I had moved out. By the grace of god they did not break my A/C unit. Now onto the actual cleaning, they did not. My home was still dirty, the kitchen and bathrooms were not moped at all. They did not wipe down the walls. Only half the windows had been dusted or cleaned. Every single one of my ceiling fans was still dusty, and there were cobwebs still in the corners of the ceiling. The oven and oven hood still had grease on them. All of these are items on there checklist. To make matters worse they had charged me an additional 4 hours on top of the move out price. I called, and demanded either a reclean or a refund as there guarantee states they do. They said they would send someone out and they would be there between 2:30 and 3:30. At 4:00 no one had arrived. I called again and demanded a refund at this point and was told "We don't do that."... IT IS LITERALY STATED ON YOUR GUARANTEE! After arguing with them for hours the manager said to me "I can issue a refund for the additional 4 hours we charged you, but it will be coming out of my own paycheck." Yes they tried to guilt trip me after not doing the job I paid them for.

Also Janeth if you are reading this and your boss did actually try to deduct that from your paycheck, go find a workers rights lawyer because that's illegal.

To anyone thinking of hiring this service, DON'T! They are unprofessional, unqualified, rude and will at most break your A/C, and at least run up your electricity bill.

Before choosing Sparkly Maid, I strongly recommend asking for proper documentation and making sure everything checks out. It’s important to have peace of mind when letting a company into your space, and I didn’t feel that level of reassurance here.

Take your time, ask the right questions, and don’t rely on what you see at first glance.
