Great to have watch for my 8 yr old that can send messages, plus calls he loves it...no doubt it fiddly to set up and could be more intuitive, but once its sorted the controls in the app mean we can restrict features during school time, plus all the family are now connected together, allowing me to have oversight of location of not only the kids but the folks too...
Terrible experience
Was given the watch second hand by someone who was unhappy with the user experience. I wasn’t too fussed as only intended to use very occasionally when at big events with the kids. But I was unable to pair the watch with the app which made it unusable - customer service was totally useless and were unable to resolve the problem. Multiple automated emails saying they would close my ticket because they hadn’t heard from me, when I was waiting to hear back from THEM! Then when I asked for a refund for the SIM plan because the watch didn’t work they wouldn’t give me one which is just a joke
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. Blocked my email after they couldn't solve the issue. New app wiped everything and instead of solving it professionally, it's all too hard so like the current culture it just gets brushed to the side. Soon your watch will be obsolete.

Initially I was put off by the ongoing monthly cost on top of the watch itself. Felt like a lot. But six months in I genuinely understand why because the app is what makes the whole thing work. The geofencing alerts, the location history, the ability to manage contacts and school mode remotely, the safe zones. It's all in the app and it's all genuinely useful. Really solid product overall

If you are in the UK do not buy this watch. The pin we were given and watch number sis not correlate or work with the downloads therefore we could not set this watch up, after a back and forth with an AI (be warned this is an Australian company so you talk to customer service there as there seems to be none here) I decided I wanted to sent the watch back. I was told a returns package was sent on 26th December, still nothing and it’s Feb, there has been multiple back and forth emails telling me my case is being reviewed but never any solid reason as to why I cannot return my watch. I flagged with my bank who have refunded me for now but unless the company come back with a reason why I should not get refund from my bank all should be ok hopefully, however I have to wait three months until I know I can keep my money, meanwhile I still have a watch I do not want and does not work!! Terrible company and customer service.

I requested a return and refund two weeks after purchase due to serious technical faults: no connection + the watch repeatedly notified me it had left the house at 23:30 while we were all asleep. It never left the property. Completely unreliable.
What followed has been three months (and still ongoing) of exhausting back-and-forth. I am now 42 emails in. Different staff reply each time, new threads get started, and the same information is repeatedly requested. It feels like deliberate delay rather than genuine support.
If you’re in the U.K., contact your bank early.
This has been unnecessarily stressful and deeply disappointing. Exhausting.!
UPDATE 13/2/26: We reached 47 emails, and I was STILL being ignored. But I WON! I won the dispute with my bank and received ALL my money back. 3 months of turmoil and torture. How can this company and their staff rest knowing how they treat people!?

Bought a Spacetalk Adventurer 2 with SIM and a 12-month plan and 7 days later the SIM still isn’t linked to our email, so we can’t even activate the watch.
There is no phone number to call, no real person to speak to, and the only option is an AI chat bot that is completely useless. When I asked for someone to call me, I was told that this “isn’t a service they provide.”
So let me get this straight, you take the money, sell a product for kids’ safety, and then provide NO actual customer service when something goes wrong?
We still cannot use the watch at all, so I can’t even review the product, only the absolute joke of a support system behind it.
This is not good enough. Sort it out.

Sturdy enough for active kids
I was worried about the screen breaking, but the Adventurer 2 has been surprisingly hard. Its survived playground falls and football training without a scratch. Highly recomend the screen protector kit too!
Adventurer 2 - DO NOT BUY
I bought an adventurer 2 for my 10 year old, as a way for him to have a smartwatch and keep in touch with my wife and me. The setup process, from using the app to pairing the watch, was absurdly complicated and unintuitive. Seriously, it feels like the entire process was maliciously designed to be frustrating and difficult. But the worst thing is the support service; there is no real-time support, only emails. This has resulted in back and forths spanning many days, without any resolution. I find it astonishing that a tech company in 2026 doesn't have real-time support. I'm bitterly disappointed with the product, and will strenuously advise anybody who asks to steer well clear and choose an alternative.

Consistent issues with location not…
Consistent issues with location not updating. Customer service is appalling- they just keep giving the same troubleshooting step to restart, update software etc and ignore when you say you did their steps and it still doesn’t work.
Still waiting on a response after over 10 emails.
Update: 9 Feb 2026 - I have given you the information and it is all on your system under the ticket with my email so your response is not accurate and I note I still haven’t had a response.

Appalling customer service. Watch never worked correctly and I wanted to return for a refund. Keep getting ignored by customer services or the conversation starts from the start again.
Wish I never had of bought the watch.
I am in daily contact with customer services who are still ignoring my requests for a return and the complaints process. instead, I am being fobbed off with "we understand your frustration, I have chased this up with the relevant team". The whole company seems to be a scam

I have had 2 Spacetalk watches (one for each child), and have had a few issues - one was incredibly poor quality watch bands (buy third party is my recommendation) and then porting over a number.
The customer service and flexibility is incredibly poor. While underlying watch serves its purpose, the second that there is a problem you have to rely on web base FAQ or an incredibly unresponsive and limited chat function. Everything is set up to auto renew and be as low touch for Spacetalk as possible and unfortunately it shows. Great in theory, but painful in practice.

10 MONTHS AFTER RETURNING MY FAULTY WATCH/SIM CARD SPACETALK STOLE $164 FROM ME USING MY RECORDED CREDIT CARD DETAILS
401 DAYS INTO THIS SAGA (AND 270 DAYS AFTER MY REFUND) - THE FINAL SLAP on Dec 27 2025: I receive an email receipt congratulating me on the recharge of the SIM card that was returned to Spacetalk/Repairer for 10 months prior.
DAYS 402-420 post-purchase, I traded emails with Spacetalk, many of which completely missed the point. Eventually, in order to process my refund Spacetalk requested and I provided purchase receipts, credit cards transaction reports, SIM numbers, and the coup-de-gras was my date of birth (which I denied as a complete breach of privacy).
A few days later I was told that Spacetalk had previously provided a refund for my phone/SIM/charger 9 months earlier, a fact that I did not question. When Spacetalk finally understood that I wanted a refund for the unauthorized theft from my credit card, they refused. It’s all so familiar.
I’ve asked Spacetalk to refund my credit card, then delete my card details, then delete my contact details from their database. They have declined to do so.
I now need to apply for a credit card chargeback, cancel the card, and reschedule direct debits. Thanks, Spacetalk.
DON’T EVEN THINK ABOUT BUYING FROM SPACETALK. DO NOT TRUST SPACETALK PRODUCTS OR SERVICE. MY EXPERIENCE IS A HORROR STORY WITHOUT END.
Very Poor Customer Service
I am extremely disappointed with Spacetalk, mainly due to their poor customer service.
From my experience, getting help when something goes wrong is frustrating and time-consuming. Support responses are slow and feel generic, and it is very difficult to speak to an actual person. I found myself going in circles with automated replies rather than getting clear, practical help to resolve the issue.
When problems arose, there was no sense of urgency or ownership, and communication was poor. As a parent, this is particularly concerning because these devices are marketed around safety and reliability. When you need support, you should not have to chase repeatedly or feel dismissed.
Overall, the lack of responsive, human customer service has completely overshadowed the product itself. I would not recommend Spacetalk based on my experience, and I would think carefully before purchasing if reliable support is important to you.

Watch software wont update
Watch software wont update.. just 'Fails', therfore watch cant be syncd to phone, doesnt do anything that is advertised it does, pretty sure thats an ACCC issue.
Customer support is AI... not helpful AI either... no risk of AI taking over the world here, as they only can offer the same 4 trouble shooting steps.. the so called 'human' support are Bots too, yes thats right Sam and Amanda, they program you to think you are real but you are 0's and 1's... $500 worth of garbage, daughter wants to know why Santa would ruin christmas for her this way...
So dissapointing.. should have gone the electric scooter she wanted, now she hates me and christmas.

Gumboot Product, belongs in the Rubbish
Purchased in NZ, at a Hamilton Noel Leeming for ou daughter who is just turned 11. 0800 dont care line, rung 6 x times to AI no reponse. The App is poor for NZ, it only points you to AU information only. With a third party sim Spark NZ, it can receive an incoming call, however cannot pair device to APP QR code does not display. Attempt to get support zero reposnse. Will take it back to the retailer and give it a big fat 5 thumps down. All that marketing and hype, no substance or intergrity to its flashy offering.
