I had planned surgery and had to be…
I had planned surgery and had to be there for 0700hrs, after 3 hours of surgery and a number of hours recovery I was admitted to the ward at about 1800hrs. I stayed in overnight and throughout the next day until 1830hrs when I was discharged. In my eyes this constitutes a day surgery and a one night and day stay but all I was paid for is the overnight stay. Whether it is how Sovereign calculate things I believe it is wrong.

Under the terms of our policy, an admission is classed as either a day case or an overnight admission. If treatment begins as a day case but includes an overnight hospital stay as part of the same admission, the claim is assessed as an overnight admission only, rather than both benefits being paid.

Easy to fill claim form
Easy to fill claim form , swift acknowledgment and prompt payment. What more is needed?
Perhaps a standard payment for an outpatient appointment which can take up more than half a day and involve travel expenses.
