My previous mouth guard was quite bulky and produced quite a strong gag reflex due to its shape at the back of the mouth, despite multiple alterations and trims. This led to me not using it much because it was often too uncomfortable to get to sleep for long. I’ve found the Sova to be much less obtrusive and no gag reflex. I can even talk when I have it in. It is a pretty tight fit and I find it comfortable.
I don't know why there are so many bad reviews.
Its hard to get the mould right but really good solid night guard.

Molded 4x's with no luck. The plastic shrinks beyond form every time and by morning my teeth hurt. The plastic is very hard and uncomfortable. I ordered direct from Sova thinking if I had an issue it could be resolved easier then buying from 3rd party, boy was I wrong. I contacted customer support advising of the issue and they advised the only way to get a refund was to send back in a jar with saline..... Im not doing that, what a hassle. Do not waste your time or money this product is junk!
Gets way too tight while cooling.. this product is not for a full grown male a small woman or child maybe .. but after fitting 5 or times it just hurts as it gets tighter and tighter while cooling

I was looking for a cheaper alternative to getting a mouth guard for teeth grinding through my dentist. I bought one of the SOVa guards after reading strong reviews. It seemed easy to fit and I shaped it pretty well first time but as it hardened it became too tight and as the guard is fairly rigid once set I couldn’t wear it for long. I tried to reshape it a couple times but certain parts wouldn’t reset and every time it set it was too tight. Not for me
I suffer from Bruxism ( Grinding teeth in sleep ) I tried several types of mouth guards, and could not get on with them. I saw an ad for Sova night guard, read the reviews and bought one. I followed the instructions carefully, and shaped the guard. The first night was fine, but needed some adjustment, as I had shaped them too tight into a gap where a tooth was missing. I boiled the water and reshaped the guard and now use it every night. No more aching jaw, tooth sensitivity, or headaches. The guard , provided it is fitted well, cannot be swallowed, and is very comfortable. A good, well designed product, that can be reshaped many times. Well done.
