Brilliant from start to finish I.cant sing their praises high enough

I had a small issue where I had to pay the postage fee of £5 for a package they sent to me with no postage. One quick telephone call, spoke to Simon and sent him a picture of the package. By the next day the £5 was in my bank account.
No hassle at all and even received a written apology.

I have nothing but praise for South Rings Energy. I had a boiler replacement, window ventilation, fans and insulation under the warmer homes initiative.
At all times communication has been excellent. All tradespeople who came to the property were polite, incredibly friendly, diligent in their work and very flexible. They were all excellent at their jobs and completed everything to a high standard and always tidied up afterwards. The words beyond expectations come to mind. The follow up service was also excellent. I would highly recommend them. Thank you for a job really well done

Steven & Danny arrived very prompt and on time, from when they both walked through door they got down to do what They was doing and that was to install a combi boiler system….I could not fault either one of them they cleaned up when they had finished, Danny explained all the workings of the boiler and what needs to be filled in (when boiler is serviced) in service book Both a good set or workers would highly recommend them both to anyone who is interested in getting a combo fitted..

Worst customer service I've ever had. Snappy. Condescending. Lies. Told three different stories. Including making me empty and photograph the loft for zero reason. Saying that the couldn't continue with install due to not knowing the loft was empty. This was three days before they were coming to install. I told her I could have that photo to her in twenty minutes. This wasn't acceptable. The whole loft thing was utter nonsense as it turns out. No idea why they made me do that. Had two different stories since. Couple days ago had email congratulating me on receiving full funding and they'd be in touch soon to organise the install. Told today this was an error. Me phoning made them cross. They're just cross. They're all angry all the time it seems. Over a year ago this all started. I've had no hot water for months as the current boilers struggling, lukewarm miserable water Id get it fixed for the few hundred pounds but don't want to do that to get a call saying it's being installed finally. Wouldn't have rang had I not got the email saying we were back on. Only rang for a time frame to see if I should get the current one fixed. This made them cross if course Total farce.

We had a heat source pump, solarpanels and new radiators fitted. Team that did the work were very professional,and cleaning up after. Work was finished to a high standard in 3 days. We used to burn £5 of coal per day our heating costs have been halved thanks to all at southringsenergy. Ian and Tracey

The surveyor that came did a thorough survey of our property.He was very friendly and very professional.He spent lots of time doing his job.Brilliant. 10 out of 10.

We have had a new boiler fitted and couldn’t be happier with the service. Steven and Danny were brilliant from start to finish.

They explained the system clearly before leaving and the installation has been done to a high standard, everything working perfectly.

My hot water does not work on the timer, I have to manually turn the emergency immersion heater on each evening once the heating goes off. This is the only way I can heat my water. Both Southring and IDEAL were informed of the problem in August 2025 but by October 2025 they both stopped replying to my emails. The problem it seems is mine and they have all refused to help. Heating installed August 2024

Absolutely outstanding service from start to finish! We had an Air Source Heat Pump fitted fresh with Solar Panels! We were hesitant at first but South Rings made everything straight forward and easy to follow. Right from the initial survey, to the installation, to the aftercare, everything was spot on, compliant and well explained. Stress free hassle free and now we are saving money on our energy. Thanks alot guys!

Steve and Danny were very professional lads, they took a very old back boiler out and put in a new combi-boiler.
Very friendly and ensured my elderly parents knew exactly how to use the new boiler. They were very patient.

We got a new boiler free through Leaf as we both have health conditions. Steve and Danny came to fit the boiler and we must say they were both brilliant, they explained everything to us, worked quickly and efficiently and were very professional. We would definitely recommend them to others.

South Rings Energy were very efficient in installing my solar panels, and responded very quickly.

The team were extremely helpful in all my dealings and queries. Whenever I phoned, they called me straight back.
I had problems regarding the link between them and Octopus Energy, and it became clear it was the energy company who were at fault in failing to turn the switch back on when they installed the smart meter I needed. They sent out an electrician straight away to establish this.
I cannot recommend them more highly.

South Rings were very professional and efficient scheduling and attending the various appointments required to fit and plumb in the new combi-boiler along with the electrics. As long as you realise that SRE take care of everything and all you need to do is to sit back and relax, the whole experience is excellent.

Just wanted to leave a review to say a big thank you to Steven & his apprentice for doing my ASHP. They did a fantastic job the couple of days they was here my home is now nice & warm

Having never having had central heating we were told we'd be entitled to a new boiler, radiators and loft insulation under the government ECO4 scheme, I was highly sceptical but I needn't have worried. The team did an excellent job, arrived on time as arranged and each had their own task. It was like a military operation. Got down to work straight away, all very polite blokes, cleaned up after themselves. Slight problem with a pipe left above floor level but quickly sorted out after a telephone call to the firm. Would definitely recommend.
