I would like to give a minus score but…
I would like to give a minus score but it’s not possible. Just search for these fraudulent scammers on Facebook to see what they’ve been up to. Came back and found my wheel damaged. It appears they have a record of not paying the short stay car park charges leading to parking eye fines. No idea where my car was actually parked. Stick with cruise company verified parking. Don’t go near them.
PLEASE USE SOMEONE ELSE
PLEASE USE SOMEONE ELSE, this is the worst experience I have ever had in a cruise terminal, this is THE worst, most despicable company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Better to just give your keys to a passing stranger and hope for the best.

Help for parking ticket charges
As an update from my recent review I have managed to get the penalty charge incurred by Southampton Valet LTD that was charged to me quashed.
Despite emailing SVL with attached booking contract and image of penalty charge they failed to get charge dismissed as promised. I did then appeal in recorded delivery letter directly to parkingeye and attached my booking confirmation with Southampton Valet LTD and a copy of penalty charge notice. I pointed out that the evidence clearly showed SVL were responsible for my car at the time the charge was incurred. It was dismissed the following day.
I also emailed the car park owners. I provided evidence of what happened to me and what has happened to many others. If this is a responsible company they have a duty to prevent another company to operate on their land in this way.
I hope this is helpful
A parking fine has arrived for the day…
A parking fine has arrived for the day we left on our cruise and I’m expecting one for the day we returned. No response to emails and it seems I’m not the only one with this problem. Had no choice but to park with them as my preferred parking was fully booked. Never ever again. Absolute scam of a company.
Mixed feelings....
We too received notification 2 days before our cruise that we had been 'upgraded' to meet and greet and whilst not happy with this had little choice due to timings.
Initially it was very difficult to make contact with the company until eventually speaking to a chap called Raz who was helpful and reassuring.
On arrival at the short stay other customers, understandably upset and angry, who had been waiting for their cars said to us "good luck with ever seeing your car again"!! Not a huge comfort as we handed over our keys!
I did question the employee about this but she assured us our car would be absolutely fine and really we had little choice at this stage but to leave the car with them, admittedly with some trepidation!!
We opted for early disembarkation and I contacted Raz again to inform him. We also received a text requesting disembarkation time and replied 7.30am. We were very relieved to find our car waiting for us. The member of staff was very polite, checked our details, and we were on our way home very quickly.
We were relieved we seem to have survived relatively unscathed compared to others - until the parking fine arrived after 10 days. The fine referred to the day we disembarked (5th August). We of course appealed. I also phoned Raz again who assured me it was an error on their part, asked me to send a copy of the fine to their admin support email, and that they would deal with it.
I'm very relieved to say we received notification today from Parking Eye that the fine had been cancelled. So I would urge anyone to appeal their fines.
As many others have said the whole experience was rather stressful and I certainly wouldn't use this company again nor recommend them to others. The staff members I had contact with though were all very pleasant and helpful and whatever's gone wrong with the company is a real shame.
I sincerely hope other customers get their fines revoked.
Do not use Southampton Valet LTD
I paid for two cars to be parked with Southampton Valet LTD. We have received parking fines for both cars and reminders. I phoned Citizens Advice who advised me to pay and then reclaim, by writing a letter to Parkingeye and sending it by recorded post. A lot of good this did, Parkingeye has completely ignored my letter and any other communication that I have sent. Southampton Valet LTD. did eventually send me an email after my constant phone calls to their office, stating that they had forwarded it to the port management and it would be sorted soon, alas Parkingeye is still sending me Parking fine reminders. This company is not to be trusted, it has taken weeks to get a response from anyone. Do not use this company, I also would not have given even one star, but there was not other option. Someone in authority at Southampton should sort this problem out, something dodgy is going on here. I have reported to other bodies i.e. Southampton Council, Citizens Advice and even Trading standards, but I am still receiving the reminders.
Have received two parking fines
Have received two parking fines. One from Parking Eye for the day of the drop off and another from First Parking for the period of my cruise (where ever they left the car). Looking at the reviews clearly a scam. Is it worth appealing either fine or shall I just write it off as a bad experience?
AVOID!!!
I was ‘upgraded’ to meet and greet two days before my cruise (Ventura 29th July). I wasn’t happy about it, but it was too late to do anything!
All seemed fine with drop off and collection, but the same as so many others, received a parking fine when I returned home. My car was still in the short stay car park at Mayflower at 10pm, and who knows where it was was the rest of the week!!
Parking services said they would sort it if I uploaded the ticket to them. I wasn’t holding any hope, appealed to Parking eye and have since had the fine cancelled.
Wish I’d just parked in the town centre multi storey and saved a load of agg!!
Disgusting service what a fraud they…
Disgusting service what a fraud they are. Turned up to port terrace ncp as instructed and lovely gentleman there informed us they are scammers. The meet and greet have been scamming people and using their cars with various fines for people being issued as they have been using their cars.
There are signs everywhere for them informing people they are scammers DO NOT USE AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
We were lucky and ended up leaving the car in the NCP and it was cheaper and safer!!

I got a fine after they left my car in the short stay for 8 hours without paying. Won’t pick up the phone. I think they’re scammers
I have also received a ParkingEye PCN…
I have also received a ParkingEye PCN for the dates on which I dropped off and left my car with this company. I have appealed the charges with ParkingEye and await a reply.
Do not use Southampton Valet Ltd for…
Do not use Southampton Valet Ltd for cruise parking In Southampton. Left our car in the Mayflower short stay car park as instructed on 29/7/23 handed keys over to their representative. We collected the car from the Mayflower short stay car park on the 5/8/23. We are now in receipt of two parking charge letters from Parking eye for both the above dates. I emailed Southampton Valet Ltd, who told me not to pay the charges and they would sort out the issue with The Southampton port authority, the reminders from Parking Eye keep arriving in the post ( their appeals process doesn’t appear to work)
We will never use Southampton as a cruise port in the future!
Two fines and counting!
Two fines and counting!
Fine from the short stay they use for the drop off and another from a random car park in Southampton where they dumped the car for the week!
Criminal activity, reported to the police!
Clearly not the only one who have been…
Clearly not the only one who have been duped by this company. If anyone is interested, this was my response to the parking ticket.
On Friday 4th August, I booked parking with Meet and Greet Southampton - part of Southampton Valet LTD Ltd. Unfortunately, they have parked it in a car park. Having sought legal advice, I can confirm that in Parking Charge Notices issued on private land, the person behind the wheel is responsible for parking offences according to the British Parking Association’s Code of Practice for operators managing parking on private land. Therefore, as a parking operator, you may pursue the owner of Southampton Valet Ltd. - The owner's name is Hamza Akram, and the address is 13 Armadale Road, Bolton, England, BL3 4QE. Please confirm receipt of this.
In addition, the landowner also has a duty of care to ensure fraudulent activities are not taking place on their land. I can see from Trustpilot that I am not the first person to receive a parking ticket. Therefore, this suggests that the landowner is aware of fraudulent activities on their property. Consequently, they should take reasonable steps to prevent or stop these activities, such as informing the appropriate authorities or ensuring that businesses operating on their property are reputable and take appropriate security measures.
Scam Parking Eye and Parking Companies????
Well, after reading all these reviews, it is really making me wonder if this is all a big scam between parking eye and the parking companies???? We too got a parking ticket, for our parking company parking in the NCP, that must of been at least 100 of us, all in the queue, waiting to get our keys back!!! I have appealed my ticket with parking eye but they are now asking for loads of info and the name of the driver, which of course, we will not know??? All this really has made me wonder if its all one big scam??????
Do not use this company
Do not use this company, I received two parking tickets whilst this company had my car. They are unprofessional and their service is appalling.
DO NOT USE AND SUSPECT POSITIVE REVIEWS…
DO NOT USE AND SUSPECT POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE THE COMPANY THEMSELVES AS WHY HAVE THEY NOT RESPONDED TO COMPLAINTS ON HERE?
I would give minus score but can't...
First time cruiser and went against my own policy of checking before using. There was no problem with handing car over and collecting but as soon as we got home had a parking eye fine waiting for us and then received an additional fine for the pick up slot. Contacted them and sent over copy of the fines as instructed. Got further costs 2 weeks later due to not paying, sent an email again with charges and received an email back assuring they would sort it out. Today received a bailiff letter for the outward journey for £170 and will expect another shortly for the return. Again telephoned them for them to say it is still in hand and that they have an agreement with parking eye and to be patient they will sort it out. I very much doubt it but will not rest. Has anyone actually managed to sort things out positively after receiving fines?
This company are an absolute JOKE
This company are an absolute JOKE.
Arrival: we turned up to be met by a lady who had no clue what was going on. She found our booking eventually and we left our car. Alarm bells ringing but not able to do anything as our cruise was leaving.
Departure: We had to wait 3 hours for our car to be delivered, which didn’t happen. We were driven to a Sainsbury’s about 15 mins away where our car was parked with the doors unlocked!!!! Suspected that my car had been left there all week in that state. Eventually drove home to be met with a parking ticket from Southampton Port for the car being kept there for 5 hours!!!! We now awaits a fine from Sainsburys for the car being left there.
Reported to police
I have reported Southampton port parking services to Hampshire police as when I left my car with port parking they took my car from the car park and brought it back and left it there for 2 hours 26 minutes that’s the 1st parking fine I received and on my return journey left it in the car park for 2hours 59 minutes so got parking fine number 2 I would suggest whoever feels that port parking has ripped them off in some way to report to the police to stop this happening to other people
When we returned to our car after our cruise we found sandwiches on the back seat which were not ours so can only image they have taken the car from the car park to go and get there dinner which is classed in law as Taking Without Consent of which we have proof
