I signed up for the coverage and paid half of the premium but then determined that my EV was not going to be adequately covered so I cancelled. Refund was made in 48 hours.
Very pleased with customer service on refund. I probably should have asked a few more questions before binding coverage.

Outstanding service
Kevin provided absolutely outstanding service! From the moment we started discussing warranty options, he was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to answer all of my questions and worked hard to find the best coverage at the best possible price for my vehicle.
What impressed me most was that Kevin genuinely cared about making sure I got the right plan rather than simply making a sale. He explained everything clearly, made the process easy to understand, and went above and beyond to help me save money.

Never answer emails or phone calls. Reporting SOS Auto Protect as fraud to Visa for not refunding my $2000 premium for the warranty policy I cancelled within 2 days of purchase.

Additionally, cancellations and refunds are typically processed within 3–5 business days depending on the customer’s financial institution and processing times on the bank’s end.

I would leave them 0 stars if that were possible. Please, do yourself a favor and avoid this company and the headaches that come with it. I signed up with them thinking they had great reviews. I was so wrong. They are high pressure sales. I cancelled my policy the very next day. They have a 30 day cancellation policy offering a full refund within that time. It's now day 33 and I have yet to receive my $5600. I have called repeatedly only to be told they are issuing a follow up on my account. That's not good enough. I wanted the refund before I needed to make the credit card payment. Well, that ship sailed. Their contract states refunds will be issued within 10-15 days. Liars! Then when I followed up I was told 1 - 3 days. Liars! I will be reporting them to the BBB as well and leaving negative reviews everywhere I possibly can. I left a google review the second day and the sales dude actually called me up and asked me to take down my review. HA! Why wouldn't I want to warn others about this shady company and keep them from going through the same crap I've been dealing with.

We believe this review is extremely inaccurate and leaves out significant context regarding the timeline and communication on the account.
Our records show that on April 14th at 4:18 PM EST, the customer initially contacted us regarding cancellation concerns because her husband wanted additional coverage. In response, we went ahead and approved expanded coverage at no additional cost, after which the customer decided to keep both policies active.
The next time we received a cancellation request was on May 12th, at which point both policies were promptly cancelled and full refunds were issued accordingly. We were also able to have the refunds processed within approximately 3–5 business days from the May 12th cancellation request.
At no point was a refund denied. Refund processing times can vary depending on the financial institution and payment processor involved, but we did proceed with cancelling and refunding the policies once the final cancellation request was made.
We always encourage customers to contact us directly so concerns can be properly addressed, and we believe this review unfortunately omits several important details surrounding the account history and resolution.

SOS AUTO PROTECT UNDERWROTE A THREE-YEAR WARRANTY FOR ME IN AUGUST 2025 FOR $1875. FILED A CLAIM IN DECEMBER, YET THEY HAVE PROVIDED NO DECISION AND HAVE STOPPED COMMUNICATING WITH ME AND WITH MY GARAGE. THEY OFFERED TO REFUND MY PREMIUM, YET AFTER I ACCEPTED THAT THEY AGAIN STOPPED RESPONDING. SAVE YOURSELF A DRAWN OUT DRAMA WITH THE SMALL CLAIMS COURT AND JUST RUN AWAY FROM THEM.

Derek, this review leaves out a significant amount of context regarding both the claim and refund process.
A decision was absolutely made on your claim. The component involved was not listed under the coverage level you purchased. Not every vehicle qualifies for our highest level plan, as eligibility depends on factors such as mileage, vehicle condition, and term selection at the time of enrollment.
Additionally, while a refund option was offered as a courtesy, we were unable to finalize it because despite multiple phone calls, voicemails, and emails over the course of several months, we were unable to get a direct response from you to confirm the proper mailing information needed to process the refund. Even your repair facility informed us that you wished to proceed with the refund, however we still required direct authorization and address confirmation from you before issuing payment.
At no point did we stop communicating, and we have extensive documented outreach attempts regarding both the claim and refund resolution.
