Sonno.co.uk is a family run business based in Yorkshire. For over 20 years, we’ve been creating welcoming spaces for a good night’s sleep in hotels, universities and commercial properties, and we’re not stopping there.

How It’s Going

Abzy and Majid - 5 star service

Abzy and Majid have done such a great job in delivering and changing my headboard. While they were here they checked everything and made sure the bed was solid. They took all the packaging away and were really polite and respectful. 5 star service. Thank you Abzy and Majid

Delivery arranged for 14/04/26 by…

Delivery arranged for 14/04/26 by 07:45. By 10:20 I had heard nothing so I contacted sonno who then informed me that the van had broken down and I would have to wait until the following day and didn't bother to inform me. I had disposed of my old bed so I had no where to sleep that night which they didn't seem to care about. If a missed delivery was my fault I would get charged £75 to re deliver but sonno begrudgingly offered me £40 compensation. When my bed did turn up I can't fault the 2 men Jacob H and his mate Kam they put my bed exactly where I asked and they were very helpful and polite thank you both.

Very good team
Asad and Abbas were very friendly and helpful. They came directly from Sonno. They had to come and change the bed which was previously delivered by BJS and it was damaged. The BJS team were not good and delivered damage item and didn’t inform me. When I contacted BJS - they were not helpful. On the other hand the Sonno team was very helpful, they arranged the replacement. The delivery team was punctual, Kept me informed at all times, they were very efficient. Made sure I check the delivery. I would recommend delivery directly from Sonno

I am very disappointed with sonno

I am very disappointed with sonno, and I have been warned not to buy from them, I wish i listened. I have ordered one double bed and one king size bed, with mattresses to go with it, but received two king size bed mattresses? No sonno no delivery drivers checked the order, unfortunately I left my mother to take delivery, due to work commitments, who’s a very old lady and incapable to check the items also the overhang mattress is dangerous for her due to mobility issues, my advice to you is don’t buy from sonno and save yourself money and hustle

Two Ottomans

I ordered two ottoman beds, a single and a double. Both were delivered yesterday but the incorrect size mattress was sent for the single bed. After a phone call to Sonno the replacement mattress arrived at 06.40 this morning by Imran and Farooq. Lovely guys who took away the packaging unlike yesterday’s couriers who left me with all of the packaging from two beds and a mattress, which is quite a lot of rubbish that I now have to personally shift.
I would have expected that if you pay for delivery and professional assembly that the packing would be removed, as has happened on all other occasions.
I think this particular experience has let Sonno down because of the couriers used yesterday.
However, the beds are lovely but the mattress on the double is extremely firm so not sure if that one will be returned. I ordered a medium to firm and it’s VERY firm.
Overall very pleased except for the couriers yesterday not removing the rubbish.

Best delivery experience

I just received my mattress and had such a great experience the whole way through, mega thanks to Sary and Isa (which was his first day). From communication the day before and delivery this morning. Very professional, kind and very quick to deliver. Great experience, would have given higher than a 5/5 if I could.
