Help with my sonik alarms
I emailed sonik sports for help with my gizmo alarms after being unable to find a reciever,customer services replied to my email in less than 24hours,i phoned yesterday afternoon and i recieved my new replacment reciever today , less than 24 hours later many heartfelt thanks go to ross and jackie at sonik sports customer services for all the assistance you provided you went above and beyond any other company would do thankyou

Alarms problems
Alarms problems.
I had issues with my bite alarms when I contacted sonik there customer service was second to nun they engaged with me as I explained the issues I was having they said to send in my set in and they would look at it . They went above and beyond to fix the problems and came to a great resolution I would highly recommend this company to friends and family plus everyone else too.

Absolutely brilliant Hayley warnes, sorted me right out. I was struggling with communication through emails so I rang up and within minutes the issue was resolved honestly can’t Thank Hayley warnes enough. Saved me a lot of hassle and issues finding a new rod. Massive thankyou to you and the team!

Recently purchased a set of Gizmo Litez Bobbins which are great quality, unfortunately I’d ordered the chains rather than the cable design. Hayley from the support team kindly helped me to get them changed with no fuss, fantastic after sale service definitely shop again. Thank you!

What a helpful professional service I received from Sonik sports. I emailed Sonik regarding a locking nut for my 60” Sonik brolly and one arrived the next morning free of charge.

Sonik Garbage avoid
Got a Sonik Vader rod for my birthday first fish all the rings popped out the eyes on the top section, returned it waited months for a cheaper replacement not even the same rod, same thing happened again managed to land small dog fish, look good but absoulutey garbage don’t waste your money hard enough to get a fish yet alone loose them, you have been warned

My son loves sonik and has rods,reels, bite alarms, chair and bivvy. He had lost a part of his reel.. called sonik and spoke to Jackie who knew exactly the part he needed.. sent it out FOC and sent him a goodie bag as well. Great company and excellent customer

Fantastic helpful service.
Only fair to compliment someone when they go above and beyond as these days it seems like endless criticisms are hurled about.
I wanted to get a spare spool for a Sonik Tournos reel that didn`t seem to be available anywhere even second hand. I emailed Sonik`s customer support and was told as I thought none were available.
24 hrs Later Hayley a product documentation manager contacted to say she would have a look around in case she could find one in service dept from old reel.
Result! Not only was she successful in finding one she sent it to me F.O.C the same day. So grateful thank you very much.

Contacted customer support, basically yes it's broken and you need to replace it. Shame really as I've always liked the products, but barely out of warranty and it's already failed.
Have bought a few fishing rods and…
Have bought a few fishing rods and reels off them over the years (both fly fishing and sea fishing gear). Most have been good value for money (I’d rate them mid price, mid-high quality). However they do suffer from faults. More importantly their UK customer services department seems to either move at a glacial pace or ignore requests altogether. I bought two sks black sport 14ft beachcasters from different retailers in 2024. Both suffered from broken rod tips when casting normally (not user error, I have 20+ years of fishing experience, have never had this happen before, and from reading various forums this seems to be a very common fault). First one broke a few weeks after purchase and the whole rod was replaced by the retailer themselves with no fuss. Second one broke in May 2024 while still under the manufacturer’s warranty. I contacted the retailer’s customer services immediately, who forwarded on the claim to Sonik within a few days. It’s currently almost a month later and I’m still waiting for a response from Sonik.

I have a sonik bedchair and broke a buckle on it trying to fold it up wrong. I contacted Sonik to ask if I could buy a replacement and received the buckle for free by first class post. The chair is really comfy too.
