Songbay is a very professional and well run organization. Prompt review of lyrics, great Song to Lyric service. The band has produced two songs for me in the past month. Both exceeded expectations in every respect. I’m brand new to this and appreciate the time and attention given to my lyrics and helpful suggestions to make me a better lyricist.

These are professionals. They know what they are doing. From the aspect of lyrics, they make my humble words come to life, musically.

I’ve been a member for a few months. I like all the functionality and teamed up with some really good lyricists in my short time here.
Customer service- knowledgeable staff- clearly run by musicians and songwriters who care.
I really like the free copyright protection of my lyrics.

Songbay gave me the start in music. Through the collaboration zone I have found a wonderful collaborator ( Plasma Baby ). With the help of the Songbay Team we have produced two meaningful songs - Chains ( heavy metal) and Mad Money ( Hardrock). I will always be grateful for the useful experience, which I've gained thanks to the support of Songbay.

My experience collaborating on Songbay has been led me into different musical directions. My 3 collaborative projects are with Metal/Hard Rock band Rage Unfold, EDM, ProjectP and Folk Rock group, SA-KE.
I am fortunate these people were willing to work with my lyrics. I learnt a lot in the process and co-created some memorable songs.
I think Songbay could have a section on examples of songs created through collaboration on Songbay.
I am grateful to have worked with talented musicians and producers. From my own perspective, “Lyrics are nothing without music, mine are not even poems.”

It is pretty much dead as it seems. Nothing on social networks, their site also looks pretty much inactive. I have been there for about two years and although everyone said my lyrics are good I had no contact with anyone so far. I really hope that will change but so far from my perspective it is a dead community.

Songbay is an exceptional, professional, and high quality song writing company. I used the lyrics to song writing service and am very enthused by the exceptional end result - a song that truly speaks to the lyrics that were written and the theme and intent of the song. I highly recommend Songbay to lyricists, composers, and anyone looking to sell their song writing work. Gary and his team are a dream to work with!

Fraud, plain and simple. I canceled my subscription almost a year ago, and they still charged me one year later. Folks, look how ridiculous this is. Your own website says that I can't sign into my account because you canceled it. Why the charge? Return IMMEDIATELY.

Songbay.co offers a superb lyrics to song package. I supplied a rough melody, along with words, and the Songbay musicians/producers collaborated with me throughout the process. The end result is a unique song. The Songbay team of musicians, vocalists and sound engineers is genuinely interested in producing a high quality result. Check them out. They rock.

I just want to say I love Songbay and I am so impressed. I won the 2020 lyric writing competition and Songbay composed my winning lyric. I was blown away. Thank you so much Gary and Chris! Also, whenever I need help with something on the site, I recieve an email in no time and am helped through whatever issue I have encountered.

I am a session singer and I've worked with Songbay on numerous songs for their lyric-to-song service. I've really enjoyed working with the team each time. They compose catchy and listenable tracks which enhance the lyrics and I've been impressed with how much they care about the focus and style the lyricist has said they would like the track to have. I have written a review before but wanted to up date it.
I have been with Songbay now for about 8 months and have used the Lyric to song/Song improvement service 12 times, with many more planned. I have already sold 2 licenses!
Every time I get a song back it becomes my new favorite! These guys are world class
musicians/singers/composers/arrangers and super friendly, helpful, creative professionals who make it affordable to turn your work into something pretty awesome! They take the time to understand what you want and make that happen.
Whether you are a pro or a beginner or somewhere in between, they care about making the most of your lyrics/songs and it shows. I can't speak highly enough of the quality they deliver. They have gone above and way beyond my expectations.

Wow I did not expect to get results this quickly. Licensed a song about a month after posting.

They don't take any cut of the sale and they have free copyright services which makes me feel like they respect the artists. The monthly fee is very low considering they don't take a percentage of sales.

I am glad I found them.

I contacted the team for some enquiries I had regarding the date for the payment for one of my sales, and the team kindly provided me with technical support and explanations that clarified my doubts. They helped me throughout the process, as usual!

I have been super grateful for stumbling across Songbay since doing so back in August of 2013. Since then I have sold/licensed 50 songs to artists/music executives around the world. The fact that they handle the contractual side of things is also amazing. The traffic generated through Songbay for my music across multiple genres has been out of this world, as well as the advice, free contracts, and copyright protection!

I can't say enough positive things about the folks at SongBay. I signed up for their Lyric-to-Song service; they turned my sometimes challenging lyrics into catchy, unique, bonafide songs that are now parked on such streaming services as Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and others. They provided consistent and personable communication, updating me on my lyric's progress from basic idea, to full draft, and then to the final piece. Their composers did a phenomenal job of translating my words into melody. Even when they were a little off, the composers were very receptive to my request for revisions, even providing me with more than one final edit. If you're like me and understand very little about how to compose music but write lyrics and envision them as powerful, burgeoning songs that can be played on major streaming services, shoot them an email. The pricing is also reasonable compared with the service and product provided. Thank you, SongBay!

It has been few years now that I know Songbay, sincerely I am astonished about how they treated me very well and always ready to answer questions on their plateform. They are very dedicated and humble guys (maybe some Ladies are also part of the team? I don't know?) :)
Anyway I am happy to have made recently my first copyright sell with them for the track "TIME OUT", and am sure the Songbay Team do their very best to promote our works. I believe since I have been working with them as an artist, there is an amazing increase of artists who are joining now, I can see it through twitter most days.
I am glad for them because they are a good team work.
