Bought loin of pork, gammon & rolled turkey for Xmas, all was superb and you can really taste the difference with this meat. No shrinkage no gallons of water leaking out. Worth having quality over quantity and you do not have to spend a fortune, just pop in and see whats available.

I've been a customer since opening and always happy with the quality of the produce and the ethics of the company.
And I my Christmas order was as expected. Excellent.
I am more than happy to reccomend to anyone. Well worth 5 stars.

Cannot fault any meat we’ve had from somer Valley farms. Everything is so fresh and of the highest quality. Knowing exactly where your meat is coming from is a rare luxury these days.

I love these chaps, they are amazing! The produce is faultless and delicious. I love the provenance of their food and they are always able to accommodate my coeliac disease. Our chicken was delicious this Christmas and so moist. The gluten free pigs in Blankets were so peppery and flavoursome. Thank you so much 🥰 we need to support our ethical butchers!!!

Fantastic butchers run by very friendly people. All the meat I’ve had has been superb. I don’t buy supermarket meat anymore, so if you’re near Peasedown or live here I highly recommend you visit

Superb rib of beef for Christmas, cooked by Delia's approach and had those that aren't great beef lovers enjoying it.

It is a bit more expensive than some butchers, but worth it and knowing the animals are treated well, with as low an environmental impact as possible makes it even better value.

We ordered our christmas meat from here. Everything was excellent particularly the turkey. We will definitely be buying our meat here in 2023

A real gem of a place and extra bonus its only a stones throw away from our house. Great selection of quality produce, all sourced locally. Beef is directly from the farm and all the rest in a short radius. The 2 Graham's are very helpful and friendly and will tell you where all the meat etc is from. Good value with some great offers, we had the pork shoulder last week (amongst a lot else) which was great value and made the most amazing pulled pork. Such lovely high quality meat.
This is a proper butchers, please support your local farmers and get down there, you won't be disappointed. We will only be buying our meat from here from now on!

A much needed addition to our village and what a great butcher with a fantastic variety of different meats ranging from all BBQ requirements, Sunday joints, steaks and even the Tomohawk steak a real eye opener if you have not been it’s a must 👍👍👍

Visited Somer Valley Farm last week, greeted by very friendly staff who told me about what they produce on the farm and who they partner with. Bought their home made burgers and marinated chicken kebabs. Both were delicious. Highly recommended.

Super clean excellent selection of meats , friendly , homely staff . Can't wait to see it expand definitely a plus for peasedown St john, well worth a visit will definitely go back soon
