Ella is an excellent communicator and did a great in pulling the sale together and making sure it didn't go off track. A wonderful person to have your team, many thanks.

Only tactic to sell my house was to lower the price on a weekly basis to get viewings. Said it was their job to negotiate the price for the market value. When it came to pass, they spent all their time trying to get ME to sell my house for £40k below market value rather than the customer to meet market value. Complete cowboy outfit. Had 5 different “case handlers” who never communicated with each other. None of their viewings ever turned up, complete con start to finish.

Sold.co.uk gave a great service and did a fabulous job with my sale. Really good communication throughout and Ella particularly went over and above to make it a reality. The transaction wasn't the simplest but would recommend without hesitation.

Thea has been great. I sent her and email and she called me straight back to discuss.
The property details look great and she was open to suggestions for change.

So far , Jade has been great. Always answers if i call and if she didn't know the answer straight away , she quickly found it. Nice and easy transition to get to market. Professional and very helpful experience so far.

I saw a property on Right Move I was interested in and phoned Sold for a viewing, which was quickly arranged for a few days later. The viewing rep was on time. She was very pleasant and helpful, allowing me to take my time exploring the property without being rushed. A day later I had a call from the Sold agent Dahnish Khan, asking me for feedback from the viewing. This was backed up by an email with contact details should I decide to make an offer. I always received a quick response from Dahnish, who was pleasant and polite, and have made an offer which has been accepted, and the property is now listed as sold subject to contract. I am now going through the conveyancing using their in house solicitor Sayer Moore. So 5 stars so far, and thankyou to Dahnish Khan. Hope the conveyancing goes as smoothly !

Horrendous.

Given false information from the start since March/April this year)

The Solicitors used - Sayer Moore & Co - decided right near completion, that they were no longer able to act on my behalf due to having a mental health condition.

I had to find a new one and then they're not liaising with my new solicitor and so ots dragging in and on and I'm being charged astronomical amounts of interest on my mortgage due to this.

They also have said they will only pay TOWARDS my new solicitor fees, when really, they should pay it all because it isn't my fault they were not able to deal with the case due to a mental health condition. There should be a disclosure or something right at the beginning.

Their reason was because I live so far away, they cannot check that I'm basically coherent and have capacity!
(Which I do and could have proved easily).

I accepted a really low offer, on the promise it would go through quickly as was a cash buyer.

9 months on and over 4K in fees on just the mortgage alone, and still not completed because they've not provided my new solicitor with the details and enquiries that have been made.

I asked to speak to a superior of 'Luke' and he clearly wasn't a supervisor, but if he was - he shouldn't be.

Gave me even more duff information and now I've had to go through the proper complaints route.

I would definitely avoid at all costs if you don't want the added stress that comes with selling to your house!

*Edit to response - mental health should be discussed initially, surely?
Thank you for keeping in overseeing. I got an email from Thea, who has really been the only one who has been a consistent contact and helpful all the way through.

Hopefully, all will be resolved ASAP as it's gone on for far too long, after accepting a really low offer on the basis of the buyer being a cash buyer and promised it would go through quickly - which has definitely not been the case. Also, then extended by all of these issues mentioned above regarding the solicitor literally just 'dropping' me and then not passing over the details that were repeatedly requested by myself and my new solicitor.

Overall as a buyer we had a good experience with sold especially with Ella Seki however in the beginning we definitely felt sold wasn't being professional, even When visiting the property no one from sold as an agent came to show us the property, you don't get that highstreet agent experience with them as they are completely online based.
We were very doubtful at first because the person who was dealing with us from sales team was never available on the phone or emails. We weren't even sure if our offer was accepted or not, We had to really chase them to get in touch and it was very frustrating experience at first but eventually it got a lot better once Ella Seki took over. She always kept us updated, She was very helpful giving us good advice and even helped us to really push our own solicitor for speedy procedure. Due to Ella we at the end had a successful ending and Yes, we would highly recommend Ella Seki from sold, She is the best.

Cemil has been nothing but friendly, professional, helpful and supportive. I would highly rate him and the services he has provided, nothing is too much trouble for him and he goes above and beyond to help. Selling a house is extremely stressful and he has made the process a lot easier!

Apologies if you reading yet another negative review for 'Purplebricks'. Perhaps better to be called Purplelego as that's the attitude they have in selling your house. Their staff come across as greedy for a quick sale, inconsistent with their valuations with similar properties in the area. They have absolutely no local knowledge of your home, very rigid in decision making and devalue properties for a quick sale. As an example I have a 2 bed with tasteful conversion to 3 bed, Every room in house has 5m long rooms. 40 foot terraced garden on Plumstead Common, a minute from open spaces and parks and woods they want me to go for for £350K. If they were to sell for its realistic price they will make over £60K on top. No high street agent would dream of making that profit on a single sale. If you put my house on at £350K on any other agents site someone would think there is something wrong with it, maybe it is auction sale, or not possible to get mortgage.
