Sofa arrived damaged, hole in it and black marks. Just to warn customers they are using sub contractor delivery vans due to increased demand and some of these guys are not professional.
They are collecting the damaged sofa in 3 days time.
I have bought another sofa off Sofology but they will not let me wait until the new sofa is delivered in 2 weeks time, so having no sofa for 2 weeks is an inconvenience despite them providing a damaged sofa in the first place.
Superb at making money but less so on their ethics and values.

We ordered a sofa from Sofology in October for December delivery, timed specifically to coincide with moving into our new property. On the day we moved in, the sofa delivered by Sofology’s in-house delivery team arrived damaged beyond repair, leaving us without usable furniture from the moment we entered our new home.

Moving house is stressful enough, but being left without essential furniture on day one — particularly with my partner being pregnant — created immediate and unnecessary disruption at a time that should have been straightforward and well planned.

A loan sofa was arranged for Christmas Eve, yet Sofology’s delivery team initially arrived with an empty van. A replacement was later provided, but it was a totally inadequate 2-seater, made up of two different materials (half leather, half fabric). This bore no resemblance to what we purchased and was wholly unsuitable as a temporary replacement.

On 20 January, Sofology’s delivery team arrived unannounced and stated they were removing the existing loan furniture and replacing it with another sofa — one that was never discussed, selected, or approved. This further added to the disruption during an already difficult settling-in period.

We are still waiting for our original sofa, now being advised by Sofology that delivery will take a further 13 weeks, meaning it is likely to arrive after our baby is born.

Throughout this process, our case has been passed between multiple Sofology advisors, resulting in repeated explanations, conflicting information, and no ownership. This has prolonged the situation and compounded the stress of trying to settle into a new home.

On 22 December, Sofology confirmed a January refund for finance payments — this has not been processed. On 22 January, Sofology confirmed a refund for the February payment — this also remains outstanding.

Sofology’s failures in delivery, communication, and accountability have caused significant and ongoing stress during an already demanding house move.
Avoid Sofology at all costs.

Update as of 29/01/26 - contacted the automated message email address, still no contact made.

Visited several times before deciding on our sofas and each time we received individual attention and were given useful help and advice. Did not feel pressured to buy at any time.
We were given tea and biscuits!!

My experience at Sofology in Paisley was a very positive one, the sales girl dealing with me was very patient, very knowledgeable, and very friendly she went out of her way to give me extra information to help me make a decision picking the correct sofa. She was also training a younger girl on some of the procedures she was doing (room plan) etc and this girl was also very helpful and friendly, I was offered a hot or cold drink, overall my experience was great from start to finish and I would hesitate to recommend sofology in Paisley

There was no pressure from staff,we had all the time we needed to find our perfect sofa. When we found it we had a lovely lady to help us. We will not hesitate to shop here again.

Rachel was excellent from start to finish she showed us how to plump up cushions and how to use the cleaning pack

In store experience was great! All details were explained when I purchased my sofa. Store is pet friendly, so you can bring your wee friend to test the sofa with you.

Loved that we were able to browse the store freely without being pounced upon by sales staff as soon as we entered the store.
Kev was brilliant, he offered advice and gave me time to ensure I made the right choice.

The staff in the shop were all very welcoming, polite and not pushy! When we decided to ask for more information, someone helped us with our questions.
There was a good selection of sofas and range of prices.
