Exceptional service from Dan - she is an absolute credit to Sofology! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is our third sofa purchase from Sofology, and after our experience at the Gateshead Metro Centre store this time around, it’s easy to see why we keep coming back.

My partner and I were lucky enough to be looked after by Dan (Danielle), and we genuinely couldn’t have asked for anyone better. From the moment we started chatting to her, she was warm, friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly patient, and made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish.

This time round, we were admittedly quite indecisive, but nothing was ever too much trouble for Dan. She spent so much time helping us work through the different options, colours and combinations, talking through our measurements and helping us decide what would work best in our room. She listened to what we wanted rather than simply trying to sell us something, and gave genuinely helpful advice while allowing us the time and space to make our own decision.

What impressed us most was how much Dan went above and beyond. At no point did we feel rushed, pressured or like we were simply another sale. She has that rare ability to be incredibly attentive and knowledgeable without ever being pushy. Having visited other sofa retailers, the difference in the level of service was huge.

Once we’d made our decision, Dan was just as thorough with everything else. She talked us clearly through the order, measurements, care and maintenance, the care kit, cover and insurance options, answering all of our questions and making sure we understood everything before going ahead. The whole experience felt relaxed, personal and completely hassle-free.

More than anything, though, Dan is just an absolute pleasure to deal with. She has such a positive attitude and is genuinely kind, warm and approachable. You can tell she takes real pride in looking after her customers and wants them to leave genuinely happy with their decision.

We’ve since seen other reviews that we’re certainly not the only customers who think so, and it doesn’t surprise us in the slightest. Dan is an absolute credit to the Gateshead team and to Sofology as a whole, and we really hope this feedback reaches her manager and senior management because service like hers deserves to be recognised and rewarded. Sofology are very lucky to have her.

Thank you again, Dan, for all of your time, patience and help. You made what could have been a stressful and difficult decision genuinely enjoyable, and you’ve played a huge part in making us return to Sofology for a third time.

Service was helpful and not pushy

Went into the store one of the staff approached us asked if we needed any help at first we just wanted to look around then we saw the 3 piece we liked when we started to purchase it he showed us the different colours and materials he was very knowledgeable would recommend everyone to yourselves

We visited and ordered our new sofa from metrocentre store, we were greeted by staff but not pressurised and when we were ready to order Emma was great she was very knowledgeable about the product and talked us through everything we needed to know. I would definitely recommend and I would definitely use this store in the future.

Very friendly sales staff and kept the shop open slightly later than closing to allow me to order my sofa and chair on the day and not have a return visit, amazing customer service from a staff member that was under training who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process

I’m really delayed in doing this but just wanted to say a massive shout out to Terry at your store near the metro centre. We had some issues with getting signed up for the app for our credit purchase but Terry was very patient with us. I really want to say thank you to Terry who is a lovely man and I am very grateful for his help and service. He is a massive asset to your team. Thank you Terry!

Emma in your Gateshead store was absolutely brilliant showed us the exact options we were looking for talked us through the options available in fabrics, sizes etc but most importantly knew when we wanted time to discuss things and gave us space with no hard sell, as a result we were in and out the store in 90 minutes with exactly what we wanted ordered for delivery

Pushy at all. Loaded my chosen sofa onto an email so I could go home and check the measurements then all I did was order it through the email. I didn’t have to return to store. Having to wait approx 12 weeks to receive sofa but it’s same everywhere.
