We were given time and space in the store to look around without feeling pressured.
We had been to quite a few other sofa providers but nothing had caught our eye, but Sofology had a really nice range.
After spotting the sofa we really liked, we asked the assistant a few questions and were given advice and information about the manufacture and delivery.
We visited a couple of times just to make sure dimension were correct and placed an order in store. Delivery was advised to be 12 weeks which was fine with us, but it actually was ready in 10. We paid the balance and booked delivery on line very easily.
Delivery and installation was spot on, can't fault it.

Great experience in Sofology - Daniel was great, very knowledgeable about the products and talked me through the different options with the sofa I’d chosen (which actually ended up tipping the balance between choosing this sofa and another at a different company). Also great with my family, even offering my young daughter a balloon!

We have ordered a new soft, armchair and foot stool from Sofology. The customer service was really friendly and helpful. Both Paul and Nic were able to advise us without pressuring us to purchase at all. In the end we chose our sofa by the website after we realised our initial choice was too large and Nic helped us over the phone. I would wholeheartedly recommend.

Staff are very friendly and helpful nothing was too much for them and they also don’t follow you around. They give you space which is so nice as you don’t get that often. And a shout out to luan davies she was amazing. If you want any assistance she is the best. She understood our needs and wants and was so helpful when we needed her.

Ordered in August for Christmas delivery - originally due early Nov , then pushed back to later in November .
When ordered clearly stated required small van for delivery
Delivery arranged for early Dec but came in large delivery - had to wait 7 days for it to be rebooked out again - was told no problem and would be on small van but earliest would be 19th Dec but def Small van.
19th Dec call from delivery driver - sorry mate been a c@@k up and we’re on a large van again so can’t deliver.
Unable to speak to anyone with authority - told I would be contacted today Sunday 21st Dec - not a peep.
Asked to speak to a manger on Thursday - told not possible but they can raise a ticket,
Asked to put a complaint in - they will raise a ticket
Asked for a new delivery date - not possible to give .
Have said if not with me by Christmas I want a refund
In addition they tell you not to arrange to get rid of sofa until delivery confirmed - we are now one sofa down since the first failed delivery
Not one manager or individual has called to see how we are - Sofology are DFS - however charge more and provide an APPALLING customer service
Asked if I should go to store and told they can’t help ….
I will never use or advise anyone to use again

None pushy staff. Gentle approach & there when you needed an answer. Had all answers without having to check them. Chatty but not obtrusive. Julia is an Excellent member of staff

Visited the store in Chester and was greeted by Julia ,she took me through the purchase and after care process. Excellent service by an affable , knowledgeable and professional salesperson. Truly a credit to your company. I would highly recommend after the care I received.

We purchased an extremely expensive sofa and paid £300 for insurance. Within the first 12 months we had occasion to approach Sofology as one of the end cushions had lost density and sunk badly.
They sent one of their engineers who incomprehensibly told us there was nothing wrong with the cushion despite it being obviously defective and the only cushion to be affected. Around a year later we approached the company again as the cushion had deteriorated further. Once again Sofology sent out one of their 'trusted' engineers who, as per the time before, said that he felt the cushion was acceptable and advised us we could purchase a replacement for around £90.
We then heard from Sofology offering us a new cushion for £217.00 demonstrating a rather significant disparity between their engineers estimate and their own price.
We asked to make a claim on the insurance but this was rejected on the basis Sofology alleged the cushion not to be covered on said insurance. Which begs the question, what had we paid insurance for given the construction of a sofa is principally cushioning and framework!
The sofa is excellent and we love it but after this experience we will not be buying anything else from Sofology as we consider them to be an unfair and extremely inequitable company. Our advice is AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!
