10/10 allround expierience! Im only intermidiate-ish level snowboarder and never felt left behind or any worries at all, which leaves all the time to enjoy the world class JaPow! Completly different feel and terrian to the groomers, it was an unforgetable trip and like nothing I have expierienced! It was my first time riding backcountry and always felt safe, never lost or in danger, Troys knowledge and expierience in the backcountry was second to none. Will deffinatly be returning 😄

Ein absolut fantastisches Erlebnis mit Snow Okami und definitiv das Highlight meines Skiurlaubs in Japan! Der Schnee in Hokkaido war unglaublich, und dank Troys hervorragender Ortskenntnisse und Erfahrung haben wir jeden Tag neue Gebiete und fantastische Backcountry-Routen rund um Otaru entdeckt – kein Tag war wie der andere. Troy ist ein großartiger Guide und kennt die besten Spots für perfekten Powder. Das Gesamtpaket mit Unterkunft, täglichem Guiding und einem anderen lokalen Restaurant jeden Abend war einfach fantastisch. Ich würde Snow Okami jederzeit wieder buchen und Troy und sein Team ohne zu zögern Freunden und Familie empfehlen!

It’s not just about the snow either, immersing yourself in your surroundings. You are experiencing Japanese authenticity being in a modest traditional home, local cuisines and the snow you travelled there for.

For such a new business I was super impressed with the organisation and attention to detail. The knowledge Troy had on local spots is what we were really after for our back country adventure with out having to pay ridiculous prices on heli drops to get sweet back country powder 🤤👏👏👏
