I ordered a lift recliner for my mother…

I ordered a lift recliner for my mother 83yrs old. The chair came and after put together rocked side to side. Unable to get this taken care of. Now it collapsed on the right side. I can not let my mother use that very dangerous. I have been trying to get this taken care of since Dec. 2/24. Yesterday was given different phone numbers and now they dont work. No email response. Im beyond pissed. Something better be done and im not paying any more money. I even paid for the additional coverage from Allstate and they won't cover it because it's a manufactured issue.

Ordered a SMUG Standing Desk

Ordered a SMUG Standing Desk, Adjustable Height Electric Sit Stand Up Down Computer Table, 40x24 Inch Ergonomic Rising Desks for Work Office Home, Modern Lift Motorized Desktop Workstation, Rust Brown. The desk worked fine for a few months but now the display is unreadable and the hydraulics no longer work. I need to speak to product service to ask for replacement parts but cannot reach anyone as the # is disconnected and the website via Amazon doesn’t exist. Please provide me a way to contact you.

Misleading fine print: buyer beware!

Received my chair today; we constructed it and found it to be rickety and uncomfortable. We disassembled and put it back in its original packaging and reached out to the company. I was informed by Shaun that I would only receive a 70 % refund as it was a “non-quality” return. I just received it today and it’s never been used! Their website states they accept returns up to 14 days in its packaging. What they mean is that if you put it together and see it is not worth the money, you don’t get your money back. What a scam.

I am furious at this point

I am furious at this point. The chair arrived a week ago, I opened it and found one part bent so badly I had to bend it back with pliers to make the legs fit into the base of the chair. Then, once it was built I sat in it, it was very uncomfortable due to a hard lump (lumbar support). I contacted them via email right away to request a refund, English is clearly the 2nd language which made it all the more frustrating to try to communicate with "Emily" who proceeded to tell me I would need to pay for 60% of the return shipping cost when I simply asked for a return shipping label. What?! Your return policy states clearly that customers can return merchandise for any reason at all if unsatisfied. I already don't want to have to return anything, its a pain in the ass and I don't have time for it, now you're going to make it difficult for the customer? Totally unacceptable! It's been a week and "Carmen" has just been stalling me as well, "I've sent a request to upper management", etc. No results, no direct answers, just biding time and avoiding customers. I'm furious at this point. I want my refund NOW!

A finely crafted piece!

Dear Smug,

I have had a lot of experience putting items together. I have twins so there was always two of everything. From toys to furniture I learned how to assemble a host of different things.

Well, let me tell you, this chair is no toy. Nor is it a balsa wood piece of furniture. It is a finely crafted piece.

From the packing, to the packing list, to the instructions, to the tolerances for the screws (speaking of which I absolutely loved the way the screws were separated and wrapped. And you used a different screw for each area of assembly. Lastly, providing extra hardware is very classy). everything was clear and came together easily.

My only regret is that I didn’t have to do a second one!

The final test was sitting in it by my desk. And that did not disappoint. It is easy to adjust and has enough adjustments to accommodate.

Crappy product and service.

I ordered a massage gaming chair for a gift. As we put it together we found that there was no massage feature nor were there wheels. My first response from Smugdesk was "What you mean", the next stated, "the massager bad for man so company won't produce". I finally got through to someone who said they would give me a discount and send the wheels. I got notice from UPS that the package with the wheels was cancelled. Then Smugdesk said they accidentally refunded the entire amount and could I pay again - lol. I told them send me the wheels and if I am satisfied with the chair only then I will submit payment or they can send me a postage paid shipping label for a return. I got the wheels REAL quick. Chair is mediocre at best. Big headache.

ordered mine more than 10 days ago , FedEx hasn't even received it, emailed you guys about it no response, defenetly not a good shopping experience, I really needed that chair I'm a tattoo artist working on a chair for hours , was hoping to use this new chair but I guess not , who knows when I'll get it , I havev a big following on social media, will definitely put smugdesk on blast

I placed my order in November

I placed my order in November. After 3 weeks, it still had not even shipped. I emailed customer service and they said it would ship in 3 days. 4 days later and it still had not shipped. 4 weeks and no product....horrible customer service and will never recommend this company to ANYONE!

Buyer beware!

Have yet to receive item and can’t get any answers as to where it is.
If I could leave 0 or negative stars, I would!
Edit to add that despite what the reply below states, this issue has not been resolved. I got an email that made no sense and when I responded back their reply was just more of the same confusion with no answers. And if you call to try to talk to someone it goes straight to voicemail, but then you can’t even leave a message because their “mailbox is full”. Buyer Beware!

The chair came quickly and wasn't too…

The chair came quickly and wasn't too difficult to put together (and I'm an easily frustrated person). The one issue I have with the chair is that the handles which are adjustable are a little too adjustable for me. Because the chair itself is so heavy, you can't really move it around by grabbing one of the arms, because the arms move!

Leather Executive High Back Office Chair

Order not delivered on promised date

Placed order for 3 chairs on November 27.One was delivered 5 days late, the other was not. When I inquired about it via email since I was not able to get a hold of anyone via phone, I was told "the logistics is delayed,I have urged them to hurry up.Could you please wait for several days?". So I asked them to cancel that order and refund me since I had bought it as a birthday gift which was not going to arrive on time.

Very pleased with my purchase

I purchased 2 chairs and I’m extremely happy with both. They are both a lot of chair for the money. The materials feel solid and sturdy and putting them together was easy. I’ve already recommended getting one to a family member.
