I got the free trial and then immediately cancelled, but was still charged. I disputed the transaction and I'm currently waiting for the result to be decided.

smartyplus.net stole my money via a Venmo pop-up ad...right after I was paying someone legit on Venmo for the first time. The ad said: "Get $20 back with Smarty Rewards". Turned out that 25 dollars was stolen, and it was marked as suspicious activity by my bank. I was not aware of this purchase, so my debit card was blocked. I only knew about it once a text from the Fraud Dept was sent to me, and I looked "SmartyRewards cashback venmo" up.

I had a 20$ bonus cash teward pop up in my venmo account. And it went straight to wanting my card info i did so. It wasn't a moment too soon i was needing gas and i was checking balance when that was bam! Right there. Then it took everything i had. I checked with venmo no success. Then late night when i was finally able to get gas to get hime an hour away. I was on chat ox woth smartyplus, and within minutes i had my money back. Hope the rest of the complaints i seedoesnt happen to me. Venmo is my main account. I'd hate to have reoccurring charges after cancelling! But i was happy in the end. But their Promo needs more specifics on the shock of thinking you have money coming back. It shouldnt be allowed on a banking app to be dine like that. Its misleading and causes serious situations, that could put someone in a serious set back... Thats why only 3 stars. I was only happy with the fast turn around on my refund sorry for typos/mispellings. Do t wanna edit hahaha

If you email they happily give you your money back and cancel your membership

Worst app I have ever used. The app is supposed to save you money, for a subscription, thats fine, the catch is ofcourse, it doesnt save you money, and you left paying extra with a subscription, there is also no cancel subscription button, so goodluck

I purchased movie tickets online. An option popped up that said to press it to get $15 back into my account. I afterwards went to my online banking as I had a bad feeling, because it asked me again for my bank information after having already entered it to get the movie passes. There it was, I had funds on hold of almost $25 to be coming out. They would have charged me this monthly! I immediately called my bank and the representative said it was a scam, and cancelled my card. People, please do NOT press on anything that pops up!! This is a third party scam!!!

Scam pretends to be a cash back and hides the fee

My Daughter clicked on the 'ok' tap when the page popped up, after she makde a purchase through Vinted, only to find out this 'Smarty.net' had taken £18 from her account. We are desperately trying to cancel this transaction. How the hell is this website STILL up and running? FRAUD

Scam website. If you click a pop-up or sign up to a subscription you will find them draining your account. My 14 yr old son was caught out fortunately we were able to put a stop on his card before they emptied hios account. Thieves.

Stole my money. Looked like a cashback scheme and didn't say anything about a subscription or me actually paying money which it was. Definite scam do not fall for this otherwise they will steal your money

Where is the regulatory oversight responsible for scrutinizing applications of this nature? How has this scam been allowed to continue unchecked? There is an urgent need for the relevant authorities to fulfill their oversight responsibilities. How 🤔?

Noticed charges for smartyplus.net on my credit card statement and was charged $25 a month for 3 months. I do not recall authorizing these charges and, until today, had no knowledge of what SmartyPlus is. I do not know how they got my credit card information or how I was signed up for this subscription. Immediately cancelled it, reported as fraudulent charges to my credit card company, and filed complaints with the BBB and Federal Trade Commission. This appears to be a scam with many victims, and I hope it gets shut down.

Today, after placing an order following a dollar surge, a message appeared in the app saying I'd earned $15 cashback. I clicked it, and instead of a cashback, I received $24.20. I've been scammed by them.

This is a SCAM fraudulent and I wonder how this website still exists and the authorities allow this to operate. A shame, and certainly a shame for the relevant authorities.

Randomly got charged for this service I never heard of. When I asked how the got my info I found out that they attach sign ups on other sites. The spot at the bottom where you check a box to receive promos and such. Block, cancel, and unsubscribe immediately

WTF..I have never even heard of this damn company! I just got notice from my CashApp account that $25 was deducted causing an overdraft cause I barely had $10 to my name! Whoever the hell y'all are, you need to refund my god damn money! Like right Fng now! Every single review says the same thing, YOU SCAMMING SOB! Stop playing with people's money!
