We had the absolute joy of having Fred conduct a first aid class based around Newborn babies and children and his knowledge on first aid is exceptional! He helped us feel at ease and made sure we understood what he was talking about! I would Recommend Fred and his services to anyone!

If you are thinking of going for an Apprenticeship with Smart Training, I would not recommend. Unfortunately my experience started rather positive but quite quickly went south. I was often forgotten about by my mentor and constantly struggled to get into contact with them with my calls & emails being ignored frequently so really lacked support.
My apprenticeship was supposed to last for the duration of 1 year. It took me 2 years to complete, not through lack of effort or incompletion of work on my side, but simply because my mentor delayed the entire process, from marking work through to forgetting to register me for my End Point Assessment.
The service and support I received throughout my apprenticeship was less than satisfactory. If you do decide to go with this company as an apprentice, please be wary.
SMART TRAINING is a professional and flexible organisation that has delivered excellent First Aid training courses in the school setting.
The quality of the content and learning materials are excellent and those that have attended the courses have been confident to responding to any first aid incident. Fred Boucher is professional in delivering First Aid courses in a Covid secure manner and participants have found him very knowledgeable and approachable. The course content is delivered in a variety of ways to meet all learning styles and with an abundance of enthusiasm. Fred Boucher provides the participants with both knowledge and confidence to put into practice what they have learnt.
Our four schools in the Trust are safe due to Fred Boucher at Smart Training being our dedicated First Aid Trainer. Feedback from participants have stated:
