I got charged for a package I accidentally selected. I called to cancel it within minutes but their “policies” didn’t allow them to refund me. Horrible business, don’t waste your money.

Day pass scam

My husband got the day pass for $4.99. He was clearly told that the pass would expire in 24 hours. He watched the game and noticed a few days later he was charged about $50 instead. He contacted Sling and they said that he selected the monthly subscription when he absolutely didn’t. They wouldn’t refund. They are misleading and simply dishonest. Apparently this is a common issue. Sling is just straight up scamming people. They suck. The website, the employees who know about the scam, and the company in general. Just sucks.

False advertising on sports

I have sling blue and orange, I can hardly get any football games. Even when the Seahawks are playing a home game. Quit saying you have games on channels you don't have. This is the playoffs. I'm not the only one missing games because of your faulty information. I can watch korean baseball channels but not football being played in my own state on a local ;or non-local news channel. That I do get, when it's not a game. Or even east coast games.

Horrible Customer Service

I have been a customer for about a decade and I got an 11-6 error which means my internet IP address is outside the US. I made sure that my IP address was showing correctly and I have no VPNs installed on my devices. Customer service kept it was my ISP when my ISP changed nothing and has no ads blocking on their router and reset all the devices. Slings network is flagging this a false positive and I asked what IP address is showing up. They told me that there system couldn’t see it which makes no sense because the IP address is trackable and they refused to escalate the issue to another team and told me it was my ISP. I have a feeling they are lying.

Sling Blue advertised Base price-45.99…

Sling Blue advertised Base price-45.99 per month. I used a special-pay for 3 months and get 23.00 off= 137.97 -23.00= 114.99- which I paid for- then I would be billed monthly after that. My account now says I will be charged 137.97 in February. I assume this is my monthly rate now. Sling's posted customer service number is no longer active and I must deal with chat which is no help. I am very disappointed- I want to keep Sling for 45.99 a month-not for 137.97 a month. Watch out if you subscribe.
Edited to add-I looked at the BBB site and the reviews show responses from Sling and claims of refunds.

The worst

The worst. Agent stopped communicating once I asked about a refund that was promised to me. Will not refund my prorated, after I mistakenly purchased a subscription.

I had canceled my paid service since December and January

I had canceled my paid service since November last year. However I just discovered on my CC statement I am still being charged. My account was not used since November. I am completed disappointed having to pay 2 months of service. I requested a refund for December 2025 and January 2026. My response was...sorry it is our policy.

Complete stonewalling of customer issues without escalation process makes it easy for customers to find a service that will at least listen to customers. Sling will eventually fold with this type of business model.

Really bad company

Went to Sling to cancel my account. Sling couldn’t find an account for me. Sling continued to charge me 60.00 a month. Still fighting their crookedness and trying to get my money back. I don’t like these arrogant people at all.

If I could rate it 0 stars, I would.....MAD!

If I could rate it a 0 star, I would! I've ordered the day ass now for 2 weekends to watch certain football games and after paying for it was told that I was outside the viewing area or blacked out! I feel that a customer should be able to have that information before paying for something they cannot do/use. The games were the ONLY reason that I purchased the pass, so after calling the customer service number that was listed online it said number is out of service)not valid and that I had to contact customer service on. Chat platform. So I did, in the chat with a COMPUTER, not a person I was told that it was non refundable. So later on I figured since I had paid for it I would at least watch a show or movie that I would otherwise not be able to, them found that the app wouldn't allow me to even watch anything that should have been available to me with the "orange pass". I am very very unsatisfied and disappointed and quite frankly MAD, and cannot even speak to customer service about it! So I rate them 0 stars!! Will NOT be recommending I to anyone and further more will lety experience be known to anyone thinking of using the service! 😡

Absolutely AWFUL

Paid for a one day rental to watch the Oregon-Indiana game but that didn't work out so I decided to watch a movie. So many freaking adds I will never pay for Sling again. Just awful as you try to advance the movie but Sling makes you watch ALL of the commercials. ALSO, kept getting a notice that there were too many devices using Sling when it was my wife watching one thing on the TV and me on my PC.

Worse support service

Worse support service. They only tell you to turn off the TV then they cut the communication. There is no phone number. Roku gives you an old number which has been disconnected! Stay away

Sling TV charged us for $50.76 for…

Sling TV charged us for $50.76 for Orange Pass which we did NOT AUTHORIZE! We authorized a $5.39 for a one day pass. When we were made aware of the overcharge, we found there is NO WAY TO CONTACT THEM! Chat bot only! Do not trust Sling TV and their ads for one day pass, weekend pass, etc. They will overcharged you with unauthorized charges with no way to remedy it. I have contacted bank and contested charges. DO NOT TRUST SLING TV!!!!! They are thieves.

Horrible customer service.

If I could give it zero Stars I would. I have been trying to fix my issue for 2 hours. I tried everything the chat recommended and nothing worked. I cannot speak to an agent and will not be renewing this plan. I paid two days ago and it is saying that I have not paid.

ZERO STARS

I WOULD GIVE NO STARS IF POSSIBLE. I WAS OFFERED BLUE AND ORANGE HALF OFF. SIGNED UP AND CHARGED FOR IT BUT NEVER GOT IT. I SIGNED UP VIA MY SLING ACCOUNT AND WAS TOLD THAT ALTHOUGH I WAS CHARGED I CANT HAVE THAT OPTION AS I HAVE CREATED AN ACCOUNT. STAY AWAY.

You get what you pay for (and a whole lot less)!

There’s More than one reason they offer slightly cheaper service than the other streaming live TV services. Originally, I thought it was just because you couldn’t get live network television. But it also turns out you can’t stream more than one screen at a time on any of the orange channels. So when my son and I both tried to watch a football game on ESPN on separate devices since I was out of town, it kept kicking one of us out. for the extra $15 a month it is well worth switching to another service where you can get network television and stream multiple devices at the same time.
