SK Removals is a family-run removals company based on the Fylde Coast, serving Blackpool, Lytham St Annes and the surrounding areas since 2002. For over two decades, we’ve helped thousands of local families and businesses move home and office, building a reputation for reliability, care and honest, friendly service along the way. As a genuinely local, family-owned business, we understand the Fylde Coast better than most national chains ever could — the streets, the postcodes, the quirks of moving in and out of seaside towns — and we bring that local knowledge to every job we take on. We cover the full Fylde Coast area, including all FY1 to FY8 postcodes and PR4, and offer a complete range of removals services to suit every type of move, however big or small. Our core services include local and national house removals, office and business relocations, and European removals for customers relocating further afield, including popular destinations across the continent. For those who want extra help getting ready for moving day, we also provide professional packing services carried out by our experienced team, using quality materials to keep belongings safe in transit. And for customers who need somewhere secure to keep their possessions before or after a move, we can arrange storage through trusted local partners, covering both short-term and long-term needs. We know that moving house or office is one of life’s more stressful experiences, which is why we focus on making the whole process as smooth, transparent and stress-free as possible from the very first enquiry through to the final box being unloaded. Our team is available six days a week from 6am to 8pm, and on Sundays from 9am to 6pm, to fit around our customers’ schedules. Every move is fully insured, with goods in transit covered up to £20,000 per vehicle, giving customers complete peace of mind that their belongings are protected throughout the journey. We’re proud to be confirmed members of the Lancashire County Council Safe Traders Scheme, a mark of trust that reflects our commitment to fair, professional service. Our dedication to quality has also been recognised year after year, with ThreeBestRated awards for removals services from 2020 through to 2025. Whether you’re moving a single room or an entire office, moving down the road or across the country, SK Removals is here to make it happen with care, professionalism and a personal touch that bigger companies simply can’t match.

Stress Free Removal
After several weeks of being in our new home and getting some time back to reflect on the house move, it must be said that S&K Removals we’re a big part of making our move, relatively stress free and a happy one.
From the initial quotation everything was friendly but professional and created a feeling of trust and confidence.
We had several quotes and the one given was similar to the competitors, but the personal attention even at the quote stage left you feeling secure that you’d be cared for, and that they were experienced enough to provide you with peace of mind that you were in the hands of experts in their field of work.
The job didn’t involve any great distance but it did take in collections from two different locations and the dismantling and rebuild of some items of furniture including some three door wardrobes.
The job was carried out by a team of 4, albeit in two stages throughout the day, but everything came together perfectly.
All workers were polite, friendly, prompt, punctual, approachable and attentive, all we asked during the move was never too much trouble.
The vans were spotless, everything was secured and protected effectively and efficiently, with great care given to any delicate furniture and fittings.
The whole move was done by 2.30pm, in situ where we required it, and not a scratch to paintwork was made both when emptying the house we were leaving and the same can be said for the one we moved in to.
I can’t recommend this company enough.
Thank you Kane and team for all your hard work and making our move a happy one.
Best wishes and future success.

Great move
Great move, nothing was too much trouble and they took great care to avoid damaging any of my furniture. They also gave me a stack of boxes beforehand so that I could pack the small stuff and left them for me to empty at leisure at my new home.

A 5 star experience
Kane and his team (Tom and Charles) could not have delivered a better service. From the initial contact to agreeing the move date, SK Removals are the best. A great work attitude and above all friendly. You know that when you put your belongings in their care - they are safe. Highly recommend - you need look nowhere else.

My review is a little late
My review is a little late - two months on having used SK Removals on 9th September 2022 to move to our new house. Thought it was important to leave a review as I would highly recommend them. Kane and Ben who moved us on the day were fantastic. They were calm, efficient and worked hard all day. They were both very amiable and made a stressful day run smoothly. SK Removals are very reasonably priced and I would definitely use them again.

Preston to Kirkham- INCREDIBLE SERVICE
Kane and Ben were absolutely AMAZING, Kane had a plan set out in advance and it worked beautifully. They worked so hard from 9am until 2pm, they never stopped. It was absolutely lashing it down on moving day but they made sure the bed and couch were covered well to protect them from the rain. They were drenched and still carried on working, placing boxes and/or furniture exactly where I asked them to. Incredible service, fantastic price and such lovely lads, they never complained just worked until each of the two vans were emptied. I would definitely recommend this company and Kane. He was very professional and polite and very easy to work with. They made, what I thought would going to be a horrendous day, very easy and I couldn’t be more grateful to both Kane and Ben. If you’re looking to move, STOP and look no further. Amazing company, amazing lads and we’ll just AMAZING. Thank you so much both of you. Worth every single penny 👌🙏 Debs

Very pleased that we decided to use them.
Used SK because they were recommended by a local retailer, happy to say that we were not disappointed. For them just a small job from Wesham to Lytham , but to us very important. Found them to be punctual, hard working and reasonably priced, not a lot more you can ask for !
