Fantastic Customer Service
I wanted to say a very big thank you to SkateBritian for the fantastic customer service i received with an online Moxi Roller Skate order i placed recently.
This was an urgent order with short notice and Skate Britian really came through and went beyond to make sure i received my order on time. They were also so helpful with my telephone queries.
I would highly recomment SkateBritian!

Non existent customer service and false advertising
I ordered a pair of skates a few months ago and they were delivered to my billing address, which is not the same as my shipping address. I emailed them about this, and they offered to have a courier pick up my order and redeliver it, however this never happened, and they didn't answer my follow up emails. When I finally managed to travel to pick it up myself about a month later, I found that the toe stops that were advertised as part of the skate package had been replaced with a cheaper, lower quality alternative. I emailed them again demanding they send me the correct toe stops or refund me the cost, and have since recieved no reply.

Sorry for the shipping mistake Ani. It looks like we tried to have the parcel collected but it could not be collected. We did send an extra set of toe stops for you at no extra cost

Brought some powerslide skates from them at an unbeatable price
unfortunately a few of the wheel bearings were a bit naff but no problem
they quickly sent me a set of replacement bearings without any arguements
so thank you and i will def order more from Skate Britain

Attitude problem, false advertising & fake "price match promise"
Skate Britain offer a price match promise. However, when I found the product for cheaper elsewhere, the gentleman on the phone first told me he didn't believe the price in the other shop was real (a large reputable store). Then he told me with a rather curt attitude they only honour their "price match promise" if the other shop is selling at a "reasonable price". I've never heard anything more outrageous & if it was worth my time they'd be reported to trading standards for false advertising. We have laws in this day & age, and you can't simply promise to match prices but then back out when it suits you.

Hi Bob, we would have price matched if you wanted the same size and model available from another shop. If a shop has a one-off, in an unpopular size, we can not match it with a stock item in the size you want. Sorry if there was any confusion when trying to explain this
