Singing Guitarist Recensioni 

We first saw Jeremy on our first visit to Croyde bay, Devon back in May 2022. Whilst he was performing as a singing guitarist at Billy Budds, a pub in the village.

Myself and my partner had very fond memories of watching Jeremy play and sing along to some classics whilst eating pizza and drinking a few beers as the sun was setting. We said then that we would follow him (on the socials) and ideally have him perform at our wedding, should the occasion arise.

On 17.08.2025 we got married (sorry for the late review) and Jeremy performed at our drinks reception and during our wedding breakfast. Jeremy and Marije stole the show, setting the scene of our wedding beautifully.

To say they were brilliant is an understatement, they were absolutely fantastic and received such high praise from our family and friends!

In addition to the musical talent, Jeremy is a dream to communicate with. Having seen him perform earlier we were happy to just send a suggested list of songs and artists we liked but ultimately to trust whatever he wanted to play. Jeremy always responded quickly to emails, keeping us informed but also totally relaxed about our wedding day entertainment. If you’re looking for live music for your event, we couldn’t recommend Jeremy and Marije enough!

Jeremy entertained us at a recent party we had for 70 in central Bristol.

We discussed with him how we wanted the evening to evolve and he produced 2 excellent sets for us. The first was more by way of background music and he got the volume and content spot on so it didn’t dominate things. For the second set we wanted something to encourage people to dance and sing along- and of course he nailed that also!

I cannot recommend him highly enough. Massively talented, emotionally intelligent and a really nice guy.

Jeremy played for 2 hours at my 50th Birthday party. He had a brilliant set list and sang every song wonderfully. He also sang a children's song to my 2 and half year old daughter which she loved. He even did 2 encores to the crowds request. I would definitely recommend Jeremy if you want a brilliant musician for your event.

We hired Jeremy to play in the evening at our wedding. He was professional and communicated well leading up to the day which left us feeling very reassured. His performance on the night was absolutely brilliant! Several of our guests commented on how good he was and his unique style of blending songs together. On top of being extremely talented, he is a genuinely nice guy and a pleasure to have shared our wedding evening with.

Jeremy was very punctual arrived early to set up. His performance was first class and was able to sing to any requests made by guests. Great solo singer and with a great fun sense of humour. I wish we could have had Jeremy for longer. Will definitely be hiring him again for another party.

Jeremy played in the garden after my inaugural lecture at the university. Before the event, he communicated perfectly and was very flexible. He brought all his equipment and I had zero work in preparing his performance. He played the songs of my personal playlist of my favorite songs. He matched the music to the event and gave a personal touch to the songs, which was very nice. All the guests commented that he did a great job, underlining the festive atmosphere of the moment. I recommend Jeremy 100%!

I can't give enough praise to Jeremy for the amazing service he provided for my wedding. Every step of the booking process was clear and easy and Jeremy was so accommodating to all of my requests and sung each of my song requests to perfection.
We opted for the full day service with Jeremy singing at our ceremony and then he was joined by his band in the afternoon, with a DJ set in the evening. I had several people comment on how lovely his voice sounded in the ceremony, and it really gave it a magical feel. He then came up to my reception and played beautifully with his partner Marije, which set the mood perfectly. And then his performance with his band, Mongrel, was nothing short of epic! They would take on any request and turn it into a funky cover, which was really fun and interactive for the guests, including getting my 90 year old Nanna up on the dancefloor... she couldn't help herself! They changed the tone perfectly throughout the night to suit the audience, finishing with a DJ set that had us all on the dancefloor until midnight, with Charlie, the drummer even playing along with the music.
Overall the service Jeremy provided was so smooth, he needed no help with set up throughout the day, and was always there to set the tone and entertain, and I had endless compliments from guests. His service was professional, but fun and friendly, which kept a relaxed vibe to the day. 100% a highlight of the day for us! Could not recommend more!
