Disappointing and misleading “in stock” delivery promise
I’m writing this review because I’m really disappointed with how Simucube handled my order.
On November 29, the product page clearly stated “in stock” and “delivery in 5–7 days.” Based on that information, I placed my order. However, after ordering, I was informed that my package would not arrive before January, which is obviously nowhere near what was advertised.
When I contacted support, I was told this was due to an IT/display bug and that the stock status shown on the website was incorrect. I understand that mistakes can happen, but what makes this unacceptable is that, after talking with people I know, I learned that the same situation has happened in previous years. That means this isn’t a one-time issue — it feels like a repeated pattern.
Respectfully, advertising an item as “in stock” with a 5–7 day delivery estimate, then pushing the delivery back by weeks after payment, is misleading and not honest. At the very least, the website should reflect real stock and realistic delivery times before customers place an order.
I hope Simucube takes this seriously and fixes the issue permanently, because this experience has seriously damaged my trust.
