What a great service. From the moment that Martin stepped inside our house, I knew that this was the removal company for us. That, and the fact that all communication with Richard was prompt, honest and he got back to me when he said he would! Booking the correct date was stressful as solicitors are really not very helpful so in the end I had to take the plunge and hope for the best. Luckily it worked out well. On moving day, Simon and Isaac arrived nice and early and got stuck in. A larger team had packed for us, a few days before and this was fantastic. It amazed me at the speed that they worked and I felt that they really took care with our belongings. Once we had the keys, unpacking was prompt and with 2 hours all of the beds were made, furniture positioned and cups of tea were in hand. I can’t thank everybody enough and would definitely recommend!!
The men were careful, resilient and very focused on finding solutions to tricky problems. Unfailingly positive and courteous - thank you!
I used this company to move home can’t fault there work and how fast they move you !! But when it came to making a complaint about damaged caused to a table which was not cheap . They tried to advise the damage was there before they moved it !! Which I know wasn’t as my table was not long purchased . They are saying there guys are trained to spot damage and take pictures. Pictures were taken off damaged table at my address as they sent me . This was more than likely once they damaged the table then took a picture in the van and trying to make out I am claiming for damage that was already done !! Absolutely fuming 😡 to even think am being dishonest and putting a claim in for something that was damaged by the guys that removed my table from my house 🏠 I have the pictures they sent and you can clearly see the paint and scuff marks as the residue of the paint and fibres from there covers they use on the van actually in the picture . If I could add the picture to this I would and I would advise if you use this company make sure everything that you have you take pictures before it leaves your house . Absolutely disgusting 🤢 the way my claim was handled making out am a liar !!!!

The team were fantastic from start to finish. So professional and made everything so easy. Communication was great the whole way through, and there weren't any hidden charges added on at the end so the quote that they gave initially was accurate as well which is rare. We had a situation were our move date was rushed through and we were actually abroad until the evening of the night before the move. Simply Moving came to the house the day before whilst we were still on our house and packed the whole house up for us anyway even though we weren't there to help, and nothing was missed at all. Couldn't recommend them enough, in fact we did to our friends that have just moved and they have had a similar experience too!!

These guys are simply brilliant, the team were professional, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They made moving day relatively stress free.
Fast, efficient and competitively priced. We will definitely use them again in the future, just wished I’d use their packing service too.

Out off all the price qoutes these guys came out tops for my move, which involved 70+ mile trip.
They arrived early and had van packed very quick.
Would defiantly use them again, the 2 chaps who delivered my furnishing were great and overall did a briilant job.

5th time the Simply Moving team have provided a full pack and removals service for me, and each time it is exceptional! No breakages in any of those moves. They consistently hold a 'can do' attitude, nothing is too much bother and their staff are friendly, efficient and professional. The full pack service means beds, wardrobes etc are deconstructed prior to move, and then reconstructed in the new home. On occasion, I have tagged on some unpacking, using their half hourly rate, to lighten the load on the other enough. Can't recommend this company highly enough!

I used the services of Simply Moving in July 2024 completion day was complex due to the chain this was discussed with the company prior to moving day, removals arrived on time and the boys were helpful but after the removal company had left and whilst we were unpacking we noticed items were damaged the kitchen table (which was nearly new prior to moving) the leg was so damaged it was hanging off when the table was moved and was unusable they had tried to hide this by resting the table against the wall so we didnt see the damage until they had left - the TV cabinet shelf was damaged and came off the rails this item had to be glued and damage to a shleving unit, i paid extra for re-assembling of bed which wasnt put together properly - all broken items i have had to replace at my own cost, when i complained i was told i wasnt able to make a claim on the insurance im still unsure why, the company took no responsibility and were not interested even after being told they would take the items away to be fixed i had a visit from someone afterwards they saw the damage but didnt even try to put things right - i feel it's important that any future customers be made aware this company has no customer service and the insurance isnt worth the paper its written on - Very dissapointed customer who will not use or recommend the services to anyone (i feel they took advantage of a single lady)
We were very impressed by the service we received from Simply Moving. The team were very fast and professional in clearing the house and loading up the van. They were careful with delicate items and were very accommodating when there was a delay on the day due to exchange of contracts. Reasonably priced too, would highly recommend, they made a challenging day less stressful for us.

Can't fault this removal company. They made moving easy. I had the full packing service, which meant I didn't have to lift a finger. Everything was packed by the guys on the day with care and moved into my new house. Stress free moving!

So, on a day when moving is already stressful enough, I paid for this company to move my items, provided an inventory to include full garage items, and paid up front the full cost prior to the removal. They started the process comfortably, but it all changed when they had to remove my garage items. He stated that some of my inventory, he assumed were my garage items. I stated, well it does say this on my inventory, which I can provide a copy of online if required. We then had a full blown argument as he stated that his assumptions were unfounded, and that a child could read what it clearly states on the list. He then offered to refund me pennies and try to insult my intelligence. I could not believe the cheek. This greedy company, do not deserve your money under any circumstances, and I believe the movers are probably overworked and underpaid, which is why they had issues with the inventory. My only wish, is that I'd have not paid them in advance. On your head be it, if you use this company. They also tore my sofa. As much as I champion a business succeeding, I definately would not, on this occasion.

Turned up on time, very friendly and did a very good job moving everything out and in again at the new address, made sure that everything was placed exactly where I wanted it and when all was unloaded checked I there was anything else they could help with. Everything was handled with care.
If I could give less than one star I would.
This company packed and moved my mother for her recent house move. I’m the process of doing this they damaged expensive items and then blamed her for not doing an itemised inventory when they come to check what needs moving and complete this whole process.
On the day the person that appeared to be in charge of the move was rude and unhelpful. He placed pressure on her to pay prior to the job being complete and when she pointed out that the damage had occurred he refused to help regarding it and simply fobbed her off.
Since she has had to chase this company for a resolution only which they only engaged with after she made her complaint on a public forum.
They have also made several false allegations about myself and other family members present for this move.
I have been witness to all of this.
Absolutely terrible. I am left with a damaged fridge/freezer which this company is reluctant to rectify. They also pressured me to pay the bill assuring me that all that was needed was to complete a claim form for the damage and all would be sorted. I do not recommend them.

You did damage the fridge/freezer so do not deny this. The doors have finally been replaced today, yes, this is correct and your staff were as ever friendly and polite. It's you who seems to struggle with this Martin.
You were contracted and paid to complete the move you mention and it was your choice to pack and complete all in one day. In fact you changed the original booking to pack the day before if you recall correctly.
Do not make statements that you claim my family members made about me that are untrue Martin - you have made several of these in your reply to my original review.
Also do not presume to know or tell me how you think I was feeling - I felt pressured to pay before completion of the job.
Yes my daughter did request a quote from your company for her removals - she would not use your services Martin as she was present at the unloading at the new property so witnessed everything regarding the payment, and the discussion about the damage to the appliance mentioned above. It is therefore irrelevant whether your teams urged you not to move her.
Your response here is inappropriate and arrogant in it's tone with several untruths.
This alone demonstrates what kind of person you are to deal with.
I sent an email earlier today thanking your office for replacing the doors that were damaged by your company - you don't mention this here.
