Great advice in helping me to choose an endurance focused bike (moving away from my old aero one) but finding one that was still sporty & light. Good advice on fit (moved to slightly narrower bars and a slightly smaller frame than I thought I needed). All good, thanks Josh

Andrew has the skill of de-mystifying the process and enabling an open and comfortable dialogue that allows you to ask any question no matter how stupid ! Worth his weight in gold !

I had an amazing bike fit with Andrew at Sigma. Having previously had a couple of different bike fits elsewhere, I can confidently say this was on another level in terms of comprehensiveness and attention to detail. Since the session, I’ve been enjoying pain-free and noticeably more powerful riding — it’s made a huge difference.

Andrew was easy to talk to, approachable, and very respectful of all my wishes throughout the process. He welcomed and thoroughly answered every question I had, clearly demonstrating his excellent understanding of biomechanics and depth of experience in the field. Nothing felt rushed; the entire session was thorough and focused on getting everything exactly right.

I would absolutely recommend Andrew and will be returning specifically to him for all of my bikes in the future.

Great service from Will at the Oakham branch. From the initial bike fit to the handover of the bike was very easy. The whole process was professional with Great knowledge and communications throughout. I never felt rushed or pressured, would highly recommend.

From start to finish, a wonderful customer experience. I made a mistake and ordered to the wrong store, so I messaged the WhatsApp chat service and it was re-routed with no bother at all. Once it arrived I received a text, so I went to the store to collect. The staff were all really lovely, welcoming, and helpful. The bike-shop dog was a highlight also.

Andrew is personable and professional. He explains enough of the dark art of bike-fitting without blinding you with complications. He listened and gave advice that seems to make perfect sense. I went away with a lot of questions I'd had in my mind answered. I know my bike is set up to suit me and it's not the bike letting the body down! On with the season now!

I travelled up from London specifically to visit Sigma Sports Oakham after a personal recommendation, and I am genuinely glad I did.

I booked a bike fit with Andrew Shore and, as a complete day-one beginner to cycling, I wasn't entirely sure what I was walking into. Andrew made it comfortable straight away. He was calm, friendly, and very generous with both his time and his knowledge, without ever talking down to me or overcomplicating things.

What stood out most was how well he listened. He took the time to understand what I wanted from cycling and where I am actually at, rather than where I might end up someday. Everything was explained clearly and practically, which made a big difference as someone new to all of this.

Crucially, there was no sales pressure at all. I never felt like I was being nudged towards upgrades or bundled into buying things I did not need. That lack of pressure made the experience far more relaxed, and it is the main reason I would happily go back.

A very solid, reassuring experience overall. If you are new to cycling and want honest advice rather than overly sales-driven, I would strongly recommend Andrew and the Oakham team. They know what they are doing!
