On 25/04/25, I left a review regarding my experience. Shuttercraft responded, but not in a way that allowed me to issue a direct counter-response. While Christian did attempt to save face in his reply — which I respect — the fact remains that as of 18/06/25, 54 days later, the product is still defective.
Despite numerous promises, self-imposed deadlines, and repeated assurances that the matter was being expedited, absolutely nothing has been resolved. I'm still waiting, with no clear end in sight.

We’re pleased that your fitting is now scheduled for Monday, and we hope everything goes smoothly and the matter is resolved to your satisfaction.
Good quality shutters
We had Shuttercraft shutters in our last house and have had them fitted in our new place earlier this year. The procedure was effortless, they came out and quoted and then later someone came out and took precise measurements. Paid half on order and half on completion. Fitting for three windows took just a morning and we have been very happy with the finished installation.

It seems that mine might be a one off…
It seems that mine might be a one off and hopefully so as the service I have received has been nothing short of smoke and mirrors since my initial over the phone quote in Feb 21 that promised, due to the size of their operation, that Shuttercraft can get their product in 10 weeks when others were quoting 12-14.
Buoyed by this promise, my initial measure up was on 18th Feb followed by a visit from Martin Jones personally to measure up a second time (just to be certain that that everything was right as it was a tricky bay window)
The 10 week mark sailed past to week 15 (June 4th) when we eventually had our shutters fitted. The gent that fitted them was great. Courteous, professional and very apologetic when he had to inform me that the blinds wouldn't close properly across the existing window handles, (new ones had been included in the quote) some beading strips needed to complete the job were missing, meaning half of the shutters aren't straight and one of the louvers was faulty and all out of whack.
This was raised, and I'm told, passed on to Martin on two occasions I'm assured but still no contact until I called him on 14th July when he promised to get back to me later that day.. I wait in hope not disappointed at the quality/look of the shutters themselves, more the integrity of the company and the lack of customer service I've experienced in this instance despite being very patient and as understanding of the current climate/circumstances as I feel I could be.

I understand that the shutter fitting conducted at your home was not to your satisfaction and a follow up was not held after your first complaint. I am sorry to hear that this happened. Highly recommended
I’ve had shutters across the front of the house for over two year now and they still look like new. No discolouration and the front is south facing! The are study with a great finish. They were friendly and helpful and the installation was quick and clean. Would highly recommend.
